MUST BE REHOMED TOGETHER WITH PENNY AS A BONDED PAIRWe are looking for a new home for Abbie and Penny.Abbie is a collie cross (probably labrador) and is 12 years old. She has some arthritis in her legs, which she has pain relief for, but she still enjoys a walk.Penny is 8 years old and very fit and active, she is a little more nervous than Abbie and relies on her for confidence. Abbie and Penny are housetrained and very well behaved in the home – they can be left for a few hours.They travel well in a car. They sleep downstairs together. We think they may chase cats so probably better not to be rehomed with cats. They are very good with children though. A good sized garden will be essential for them to be able to play and also for toileting as Abbie prefers to do this on grass. When being walked on a lead they can bark at other dogs so this would need working on and preferably there would be 2 people to walk them in their new home to make this a little easier to handle. They have been walked off the lead in the past and have recall.They are lovely affectionate dogs who settle well into a home and are great company (Penny will bring you a soft toy as an offering).Penny is up for adoption, Abbie can be rehomed as a long term foster which means that ADIN will cover some of her vets fees as she is entering her later years. They must be rehomed together though.

Please step forward if you are looking to get a lovely new canine pal for your dog!Lhaso Apso Alfie is only 2, and has missed out on proper training and socialisation. He is much loved by his owner but due to their ill health is bravely making the this decision in Alfie’s best interests. He is a proper sweetheart in the home, housetrained, can be left for reasonable periods, loves people and children.He adores the company of other dogs and has many doggy pals so we would love to find him a home with another resident dog or dogs.But here’s the rub… in his excitement and frustration in seeing unknown dogs he doesn’t know what to do with himself so that is very offputting when people with dogs first see him.We need any potential new owner to be able to take the time to meet him and carefully manage the introduction process with other dogs and have the commitment to further work on his training.We would like a home with a garden, other dog/s, no cats.Families with older, calm, dog savvy children also welcome to apply.Priority will be given to people already homechecked by us, but if you tick all the right boxes for Alfie and need a homecheck please send us an email to enquire about him.

Bailey is such a stunner- a friendly and playful if rather boisterous ladHe is only 18 months old and has has spent a lot of his short life outside with little input or exercise. He is looking for a home where he can receive some exercise and training to make his life complete. We are told he is fine with other dogs, however as far as we know, he has had limited interaction with others previously . We don’t know how he is with cats He has had little or no training so needs someone with the time and patience to help him with this. He is very friendly and keen to learn however and has proven to be good with lead walking whilst in the kennels Travels very well in the car.This lad was originally imported from Eastern Europe. He is currently in kennels and is described by them as a friendly boy with nothing wrong with him…could you give this boy the chance he so deserves??

Say hello to Leo, a 12 month-old neutered male lurcher looking for his forever homeLeo is a big, happy, and excitable boy who absolutely loves people—he just wants to be everyone’s best friend! After a good play he loves big cuddles on the sofa He walks lovely using a halti headcollar, but can be jumpy at loud nosies and things he doesn’t understand. Leo has lived with young children before, but he is pretty bouncy and can mouth hands in play so older children only- teens upwards.Leo can be a little unsure around things like bikes, scooters, and hoovers, and may bark at them, but with time and reassurance he’ll build confidence. He’s a clever lad (he can even open doors!) and loves his toys—although he does enjoy a good chew, so shoes might need to be kept out of reach He will happily keep himself entertained for with his toys, particularly balls which he loves to throw around the garden. He gets along with other dogs, being a youngster he wants to play! No catsLeo would thrive in a home that can give him guidance, structure, and lots of love

Penny is an adorable 8 year old Cavapoo, described by her fosterer as a wonderful little diva and an ideal companion dog.She is quite anxious and really needs a calm home where her new person or people can offer a quiet, relaxed environment where she can have gentle routine and structure.What Penny needs: Adult only home – she finds small children too noisy and unpredictable and will bark and growl at them. Pet free home – Penny will chase cats and is happiest as an only dog – this girl loves all the attention for herself! A home with a secure garden – Penny loves regular walks but adores pootling about in the garden. She does not ask to go out so quick, easy and regular access to a garden is good for her toileting needs. Regular routine home grooming and a professional groom every 2-3 months.Penny takes time to get to know and trust new people so we are looking for new owners who can take their time in getting to know her, and will understand the need to give her time and space around strangers/visitors to the home.Once she trusts you she is the sweetest dog and someone will be very lucky to have such a lovely companion

We are urgently looking for a new foster or adoptive home for Ruby.She is a really sweet 4 year old German Shepherd cross. She loves people and would happily spend all day by your side if that was an option. She has previously lived with children. She gets on brilliantly with other dogs and currently goes to doggy daycare twice a week where she loves playing with other dogs of all ages and she especially loves the puppies. She has never had any contact with cats. Ruby needs an active home as she loves her walks.Ruby sadly suffers with Separation Anxiety so we need a home where someone can work with her on this.
