Meet Ace Ace is our stunning German Shepherd, approximately three years old, and an absolute gentleman through and through. This big, handsome boy has a soft, gentle nature and is a pleasure to be around. He walks beautifully on the lead, is clean in his space, and carries himself with a calm, easy-going manner. Ace shows no real interest in other dogs and is happy to simply go about his day, making him an easy companion. Ace is a clever lad with a bit of a mischievous streak — he’s something of an escape artist and has been known to open gates and jump fences! Because of this, he will need a home with very secure outdoor space and owners who can keep one step ahead of him. All in all, Ace is a lovely, well-mannered boy with so much to offer. Despite the changes in their lives, these two girls remain full of love and personality. A lovable pair aged 4 and 7, Bailey and Chunky are fun, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. They share a special bond and are looking for a home where they can stay together, as they truly are happiest side by side. Meet Bella Bella is a beautiful Chinese Crested girl who is looking for a calm, understanding home to call her own. Naturally very shy, Bella can take time to trust, but underneath that worried little exterior is a sweet, loving soul who simply wants to feel safe. Having previously been used for excessive breeding, Bella has spent the last year in a family home but has found busy household life overwhelming. She would much prefer a quiet, settled environment with someone who understands the sensitive nature of the breed and will allow her time to blossom at her own pace. Bella enjoys her walks and likes getting out and about, but equally she is happiest living a peaceful, easy life with gentle companionship and plenty of reassurance. Little Benson was born here at Almost Home, one of a litter of eight puppies. His mum, Bella, is a small Rottweiler and his dad is a Husky–German Shepherd cross. Now eight weeks old, born on 13th March, Benson is a real character. He’s confident, playful, and full of curiosity, and you could easily spend hours just watching the things he and his littermates get up to. He’s been well socialised and is growing into a fun, lively young pup. Benson will need a home prepared for all aspects of puppy training, with time, patience, and consistency to help him grow into the best version of himself. In return, he’ll bring all the joy, chaos, and companionship that comes with a young dog. Benson is looking for a home with children aged 8 and over.

Meet Buddy – From Rags to Riches Buddy is a lovely crossbreed boy whose journey hasn’t been an easy one. He arrived with us in truly heartbreaking condition—skin and bone, with patches of hair loss—but thanks to care, patience, and a lot of love, he’s made an incredible transformation and is now looking so much brighter and healthier. Through it all, Buddy has remained an absolute sweetheart. He adores people and thrives on human company, always ready for a fuss or a cuddle. His favourite thing? Belly rubs! Show him a kind hand and he’ll happily roll over to soak up all the affection he can get. Buddy also seems to get on well with other dogs, making him a great potential companion for an existing pet. He’s a very clean and tidy boy in his kennel too—just another sign of what a good lad he is. Now all Buddy needs is a loving home to complete his journey. Both Staffy crosses, they’ve spent their whole lives living outdoors and are now truly embracing the comforts of home life indoors. Comical, full of fun, and guaranteed to make you smile, they’re always the first to greet you, the first in line for a cuddle, and the last you’ll find at night — curled up together in bed, fast asleep. Charlie and Jodie are looking for a quiet retirement home with a comfy sofa to call their own, where they can stay together as they should be. They can live with dog-savvy children aged 6+, cannot live with cats, and while they are good with other dogs, they would thrive best as the only pets in the home.

Meet Creed Creed is a big, lovable 18-month-old Staffy cross with a truly gentle soul. He can be a shy and nervous boy at first, but once he learns to trust you, he will give you his whole heart. Creed is good with other dogs, particularly smaller ones. He can be unsure around larger dogs due to a past incident where he was attacked, so he would do best with calm introductions and understanding companions. This sweet boy is an absolute gem, full of love just waiting for the right person to see how special he is.

Meet Daisy Our little pocket rocket Daisy is a real character and an absolute joy to be around. She’s a lovely-natured girl who is curious about everything in the world around her, always ready for an adventure, but equally able to settle beautifully when it’s time to relax. Daisy is a typical Staffy in all the best ways — bouncy, lively, and full of fun. She brings energy and personality wherever she goes, but she is also a sweet, good-natured girl at heart. When out and about, Daisy shows no real interest in other dogs. She could potentially share her home after a successful meet and greet, but she would also be just as happy as the only dog, soaking up all the attention for herself. A brilliant little girl who has everything you could want in the breed — fun, affection, and a big personality in a small, lovable package.
