About Alpet Poundies Rescue
Alpet Poundies Rescue is a small, independent animal rescue based in Croeslan, Ceredigion, caring primarily for dogs in need across West Wales. Run from home kennels by a qualified veterinary nurse and experienced dog trainer, the rescue focuses on rehabilitation, behavioural support, and finding safe, suitable forever homes for each dog. Dogs are cared for in on-site kennels or placed with trusted foster homes while awaiting adoption, and the charity is committed to avoiding euthanasia except in the most serious and unavoidable welfare circumstances. Alpet Poundies Rescue also supports private rehoming cases, including hand-ins and ex-breeding dogs, and has successfully rehomed hundreds of dogs while continuing to provide long-term care for those who need extended support.
