About Animals In Need

Animals In Need is a long-established rescue organisation founded in 1990, dedicated to helping sick, injured, trapped, and distressed wild and domestic animals. Operating across Northamptonshire, the charity provides emergency response, veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and rehoming or release where possible, working closely with volunteers and local authorities, including Northamptonshire Police. Animals In Need is equipped with a fully fitted animal ambulance, specialist transport, and up-to-date first aid equipment to respond to a wide range of emergencies. The team cares for vulnerable wildlife such as orphaned birds, injured swans, and underweight hedgehogs, often requiring intensive round-the-clock support. Entirely reliant on donations, the charity also partners with Restart4Rescues to offer adopters professional guidance when settling rescue dogs into their new homes.

Karlos

Karlos is a lovely lad with lots of energy who will make a fantastic companion but will need a home experienced in large breeds. He is very strong but walks better on a Halti so ongoing training with that is essential. He is a friendly boy but due to his size he would be best in a home where there will be no children under the age of 12 yrs. He is fine around calm dogs when out walking, but would not want to share his home with one. He has not been cat-tested. The ideal home for Karlos would therefore be an active family experienced with large breeds, who can offer him lots of exercise and are committed to training him, as he is very eager to please.www.animals-in-need.org is the proud winner of best designed website from the pet forums community.
