YesLocation - West SussexThese two lovely girls arrived at the beginning of April - both needing veterinary attention asap.AMBER (mum) is 9 yrs old and RUBY (daughter) is now nearly 7 yrs old.Amber had an enormous hernia - believed a result of multiple litters of puppies. Her uterus was the largest our vet had seen ... distended and in poor condition (a massive risk for infection). She has now been spayed and her hernia fully repaired. She has made a full recovery and is a fabulous older dog.Ruby arrived with a concerning breathing problem - we soon realised it was likely to be laryngeal paralysis. She has also now been spayed and her condition is being managed well. (There is a possible option for surgery to assist a little later).

NoCan live with children? 10+ years Location - West SussexHe was living in London before being handed into Battersea - he really struggled in this environment and sadly Battersea put him on code red as they felt he was not rehomeable, although we have no idea why! He’s never shown a single ounce of aggression - he is a loving and affectionate dog who adores his walks!He came to join us approx 1.5yrs ago and is a wonderful happy boy! He absolutely loves to play and loves other dogsThere is however a BIG BUT - he is absolutely terrified of travelling in a vehicle - he arrived shut in the dark in a small purpose built travel cage in the back of a Battersea van and has never got over this.

His favourite pastime is cuddling up to you on the sofa and will happily accept as much love and affection as you can give him.He has a lovely nature, shows no signs of aggression and requires a moderate level of exercise. If he goes for a long walk, or a run in a secure field, he will happily sleep most of the day away.He is currently living with two other dogs and he would love a home with another dog to keep him company!

He was scared of EVERYTHING - sound, movement and handling. he was totally shut down.He has come a long way in a short time - he has only been with us since 23rd February, arriving with Lumi & KayaHe is now kennelled alone and believe he will be happiest with a calm female or as an only dog.He is allowing us to handle him, stroke him, lightly brush him and lead him in and out of the paddock and kennel. He is even spending time off lead in the paddock and coming to us to be caught and taken in!

YesLocation - West SussexJOEY​This gorgeous young boy has gone to foster as an only dog but it is clear he will need a friend ... we know he previously lived with children and other dogs.​He is 2yrs and 2 months oldHe is quite vocal if left unless he has canine companyHe is a funny little chap ... so affectionate and sweet but desperate to play.He has NO muscle tone at all and will need building up slowly and carefully.He is NOT cat testedNo children under 10 pleaseAnother calm dog or more ... female ideally​He is showing to be clean indoors with a couple of expected little wee accidents and maybe has had little exposure to the outside World ... so he is curious and excitable.​​Jess is fostering him.for us and says ...​Honestly absolutely adore this boy I think he’s so gorgeous inside and out and considering he’s only young and has spent however long in pound kennels - he’s been thrown into group walks, beach walks, walks along the busy road etc and he’s been brilliant. She has been in foster with us since September. ​​She is believed to be around 3 years old the vets think and is showing to be a lovely natured dog with no reactivity of any sort to other dogs of either sex.​​Her coat was badly matted, she had skin problems from neglect, needed a dental and she has entropian in both eyes!She came into season and we had to wait for surgery but yesterday finally the day came ... On better examination under GA it was clear that she needed both her upper and lower lids correcting with an amount of loose skin removed as well. She was under anaesthetic for 3 hours and has come through with flying colours thankfully.​She is eating and bright and in a few days will be more comfortable than she has ever been.​This is another example of BAD BREEDING and dogs being dumped with very costly medical needs ...​ ​​

SO he MUST have company of other dogs.Larry is looking for an experienced, patient, and loving home.... he has already been through so much in his early life and endured abuse and mistreatment before arriving in our care.Larry was rescued in 2024 and has been part of the Arundawn 'family' ever since.

UnknownLocation - West SussexLILY​This dear little dog was taken to a Surrey vet to be euthanised yesterday!!!!​WHY??? Because her owners are having a baby and described her as showing aggression, going or gone blind, signs of dementia and possibly deaf... oh yes ... and not good with other dogs!!!!!!!​They have NEVER let her off lead nor is she spayed. She is 12.5 yrs old!​We collected her from the vets today and she has gone to foster with our long suffering friend Charlotte Morrow.​She will be checked by our vet and spayed if appropriate after blood tests. Updates will follow over the coming days​
