She has a playful side and loves games such as fetch, as well as enjoying toys and chews, which are also a great way to help her build confidence.Connie has a sensitive nature and feels happiest in a calm, predictable environment. She is looking for a quieter home with a consistent routine. She will need adopters who understand that she can be cautious when meeting new people and may prefer to observe from a distance before choosing to say hello. After which she’s more than happy to relax with a chew and unwind.She can be unsure in new situations, so she needs a calm, patient owner who can help build her confidence. Elsa isn’t instantly affectionate but forms strong, rewarding bonds once she gets to know you, and she may need a few visits before going home.Elsa can live with older secondary school aged children who are confident around big, bouncy dogs. He loves zooming around, playing with toys – especially soft ones he can shake – and showing off his impressive speed. Once he’s had a run, he is a friendly and affectionate lad who enjoys human company and will happily lean in for fuss and attention.Kai would benefit from a quiet, low traffic environment to help keep his walks relaxed and predictable. A securely enclosed garden would also be ideal, as he enjoys having the space to run freely and burn off energy.As Kai has not lived in a home environment before, he will need time, routine and support while he learns the ropes. His toilet training is a work in progress and he can have an accident sometimes, so adopters should be prepared to continue toilet training with patience and consistency. Please read my profile below to find out more.Meet Larry a very special chap who is need of a special new home.In finding Larry's new home we are looking for new owners who have had Great Danes before that understand the breed's needs and traits.He is an affectionate and gentle chap once he knows you but can find meeting new people worrying so would benefit from a quiet home. He forms strong bonds with his humans and typifies the classic Great Dane personality: calm, loving and happiest when close to his family.Larry is good on the lead and enjoys his walks, taking time to sniff and explore. He also really loves playing with toys in our paddocks and is often seen galloping around with a ragga in his mouth play bowing at his favourite people.He is social with other dogs and has lived with other small dogs before so he could potentially share his home with a well-matched dog following introductions at the centre.Larry has found the transition to living in kennels more stressful than most and so we want his new home to be as quiet and stable as possible. For this reason we think a home with teenage or no children would be best for him and aid the transition back into a new home.He’s ready to find a loving home that understands the needs of a big, sensitive boy and can offer him stability, companionship and lots of sofa space!
