‹› Dolly and Teddy This pair arrived in a very neglected state but despite everything, they were such happy and friendly little souls! They have been thoroughly vet checked, had antibiotics, medicated baths and a good groom to remove the heavy matting and they are looking good Teddy’s hair is growing in so well and skin is looking amazing. Dolly is hugely improved but will still need medicated baths twice weekly until we have her skin looking perfect. They are not related but have lived together for many years and despite Dolly being a bossy boots, they do adore each other.

‹› Dougie A big, handsome boy with a fun, bouncy personality. Dougie certainly isn’t for everyone………..he will be a huge commitment for exercise and training. This breed needs a very active home to stop them becoming bored and causing unwanted behaviours. His previous owners found him to be very destructive and physically very demanding. Dougie loves people and other dogs, but many dogs would struggle to cope with his boisterous behaviour. He will probably be best as the only pet so his new owner can focus on his training.

‹› Eddie Eddie is a lovely, friendly dog who needs the calm and routine of a new home. He finds kennel life very stressful which is not nice to see! Eddie loves his walks and does start to relax when he is walked but we are struggling to get him to relax. Eddie does enjoy meeting other dogs but he has never lived with one. Have you got a quiet home you would like to share with Eddie?

‹› Enzo Enzo is a fun, friendly boy who adores people and lots of cuddles. he would like his new owner to be around for most of the day to keep him entertained. Enzo loves his exercise and he walks very nicely on lead. However, he does have a very strong prey drive so he will need to be kept on lead he public places. Enzo is good with other dogs but he does get over excited when dogs are running. A lovely boy who would benefit from further training.

‹› Hallie Hallie has just retired from racing and she is now needing the comfort of a new home. She is finding the outside world a very scary place, so her new owner will need to have the time and patience to help her adjust to a new environment. Hallie has not reacted to other dogs on her walks and we find that walking with another dog can help her. Hallie is looking for a quiet home.

‹› Halo Halo is typical terrier……he is full of life and character! A friendly, confident boy who loves people and attention. Halo can be a little lead reactive when meeting other dogs so there is work to be done to help him remain neutral around other dogs. If Halo is walked with other dogs he does relax and is happy in their company. Halo would benefit from a new owner with terrier experience, they can be challenging and aren’t the dog for everyone.

‹› Kane Kane is a typical puppy, full of fun and energy. He has already had 2 homes in his short life so we need to make sure that we now find him his forever home……….it has to be third time lucky for him! Kane has settled well in his kennel, he is clean and hasn’t chewed. He is very excited to meet new people so if you do come to meet him, you will probably get wee’d on He needs a new owner to be around most of the day and have the time to educate him. Kane is a real livewire so he will need a new owner with lots of energy!

‹› Luca Luca is a lovely natured puppy so he will need someone with lots of time and patience to train him. Puppies are a lot of fun but a huge commitment, please think very carefully before applying.

‹› Otis Otis is an active young dog needing an experienced owner with time to invest in him. He has totally dominated his owner and is used to getting his own way, his new owner will need to set some boundaries and help him gain some manners. For this reason, Otis cannot be re-homed with children of any age. Ideally Otis will be best as the only pet in the home so that he can focus on his training. Please consider the commitment and needs of Otis carefully before enquiring about him, he will be a challenge!

‹› Ozzie Ozzie is a happy, fun character who has made us all smile since joining us. He loves life, he is a pleasure to walk ad has been very sociable with other dogs. Ozzie joined us as he was jealous of the toddler in his home, we will therefore not re-home with young children. We are looking for an adult home or a home with older children.

‹› Red – Foster Home found Red has hip dysplasia and needs surgery to replace his right hip, the recovery period will be 12-14 weeks. He has now found a lovely foster home and he has settle in perfectly. Red has an appointment at Pennine Vets on November 18th for a consultation with the orthopedic vet, we hope that his surgery will be soon after this date. Red has had his surgery today Monday 1st December, he is spending his night at the vets but hopefully, he will return to his lovely foster parents tomorrow. ‹› Skye We know very little about Skye’s past other than she has lived with other dogs. She is only just starting to relax and show her sweet, gentle nature so we are still getting to know her. Skye walks perfectly on lead and has been calm and un-reactive around other dogs. A very nice little girl who deserves the stability of a new home.
