About Causeway Coast Dog Rescue

Causeway Coast Dog Rescue is a non-profit organisation formed over 20 years ago and registered as a charity in 2015, dedicated to rehoming unwanted dogs and improving the welfare of those neglected or abused. Every dog in their care is thoroughly assessed by a veterinary surgeon, neutered, licensed and carefully matched to a suitable home, with six weeks’ insurance provided to support adopters. The charity also supports members of the public by signposting concerns about suspected cruelty or neglect to the appropriate authorities, always prioritising the dog’s wellbeing. In addition to rescue work, Causeway Coast Dog Rescue actively campaigns for stronger animal welfare legislation in Northern Ireland to better protect companion animals.
