Esi was a puppy within one of the very first litters we ever helped with 4 years ago. Now, however, her previous owner's circumstances have changed so she has come back to us. Esi is incredibly loyal, sweet, and affectionate with those she knows. As she is part Saluki/ Azawakh/ Sloughi, she needs a very experienced Sighthound home. Her high prey drive and dog reactivity require someone who is on-the-ball. When she is bonded with you though, it's for life. She adores hugs and will sit on your lap as if she is a little puppy. With dogs, she can be safely introduced with another dog that she may live with - it seems she just isn't a fan of unfamiliar dogs. River is another mystery dog from the stary pound with no background information. What we do know is that he is super friendly and everyone who meets him says how wonderful he is. He loves meeting other dogs and is just generally a really nice boy. We think he would adjust nicely to any kind of home scenario though we do feel he would prefer living with another dog as he is so playful. Thanks to lots of love and care, he’s made an incredible recovery and is now fit, healthy, and thriving in his foster home.Sprout has been in foster for a few months and has truly blossomed. He’s a small lurcher (a little bigger than a whippet), full of life and personality. He’s very active, super playful, and absolutely adores having fun. He plays in a boisterous, bouncy way, so he’ll need another dog in the home who matches his energy and enjoys rough-and-tumble play as much as he does.He’s: • House trained • Very good when left alone • Dog friendly • Great in the car • A real people-loverSprout thrives on companionship and would love an active home where he can stretch his legs, play to his heart’s content, and then snuggle up afterwards.After everything he’s been through, this special boy truly deserves the happiest of endings.
