In 2023, Chilterns Dog Rescue Society celebrated 60 years of rescue and rehoming. This amazing milestone had very humble beginnings but has grown into an established and well respected charity which has helped thousands of dogs to find their forever homes. Chilterns Dog Rescue has a long history of rescue and rehoming and continues to grow thanks to the dedication and support of many members, volunteers and dog lovers. The challenges we now face are greater than ever with unprecedented numbers of dogs seeking space in rescue due to the fallout of the pandemic, the financial crisis and the uncertainty of everyday life in general.

Abi

Abi is a 16kg neutered French Bulldog cross and came in to our care as a stray from the pound. Abi is a friendly, enthusiastic girl who absolutely loves human company. True to her type she can be strong on lead at times, but when she connects with you she is bright, affectionate and a rewarding companion. Abi has played well with other dogs at the rescue but would benefit from continued socialisation and training. Abi is looking for a home with experience of bull breeds. Someone that understands her character, her strength and her training needs. with continued support Abi will be a fun, loyal and loving companion with plenty of personality. Due to Abi coming in to us from the pound we would recommend that Abi is not homed with children or animals in the home. Her favourite things are toys, adventures and food!
