Rosie is searching for a loving forever home. She is thought to be around 8 years old and came into our care after serving her 7-day stray hold with one of the local stray services we work with, where the local council arranged her initial veterinary treatment before reaching out to us for help.Since arriving at Cinque Ports Rescue, Rosie has settled beautifully with her foster carers and their resident Dachshund. She has received her vaccinations and, after treatment for ear and dental infections, has truly blossomed. Now weighing a healthy 3.6kg, Rosie is clean in the house, sleeps soundly through the night, and very much enjoys her meals, she will happily remind you when breakfast time is approaching.Rosie is a friendly and easy-going little dog who gets along well with everyone she meets. While she isn’t particularly interested in playing with other dogs, she is completely unbothered by them and shows no signs of aggression. She is quite content entertaining herself, although she does love a game of fetch and will happily bring a toy or ball back time and time again in the hope of another throw.

Sweet Sidney is now ready to find his forever home. At 14 years young, this lovely little Bedlington Terrier has settled beautifully into rescue life, and shown us exactly who he is, a friendly, playful, affectionate old boy who still has plenty of sparkle left.Since coming into our care, Sidney has had a full makeover, a much-needed dental and a clean bill of health from our vets, and he’s now feeling so much more comfortable. Unfortunately he has had to be completely shaved, but it will soon grow back, but in the meantime he appreciates a jumper or a coat for walking in. He’s eating well, enjoying his days, and loves being around people. He may be a golden oldie, but he still has a cheerful, cheeky side that makes everyone smile.Sidney is looking for a calm, loving home where he can enjoy the comforts he truly deserves, a warm bed, kind hands, and someone who appreciates the quiet joy an older dog brings.

Spicy is a short-haired Chihuahua of approximately 3 years old who recently completed her 7-day stray hold after eventally being caught after being reported as straying for a prolonged period. Following a full assessment, and haveing had her routine vet work completed, we’re delighted to say she’s now ready to find her forever home.True to her name, Spicy can be a little… well… spicy! She absolutely adores her fosterer and forms strong bonds once she feels safe. However, she does find meeting new people challenging. This behaviour is entirely fear-based, and she needs an experienced and understanding home that will allow her the time and space to settle at her own pace.The good news? It really doesn’t take long for Spicy to learn to trust, especially as she is highly food-motivated and can definitely be won over with tasty treats!

Theo came into our care after sadly finding himself as an unclaimed stray, but thanks to the dedication of our team, he was able to spend his stray hold safely with us rather than in kennels. He has now been legally signed over into our care, and we are so pleased to be able to help him on the next stage of his journey.At 15 years young, Theo is a wonderful little Shih Tzu with a huge love for life. He adores people, enjoys his treats, and still gets great pleasure from his walks, happily trotting along with gentle determination. Despite some weakness in his legs, which has been confirmed as a neurological issue, Theo doesn’t let it dampen his spirit. He approaches each day with quiet enthusiasm and remains the sweetest, most endearing companion.He is now looking for a calm and loving retirement home where he can enjoy the comfort and companionship he truly deserves. A quieter environment would suit him best, with someone who can offer him time, patience, and plenty of affection. Theo forms lovely bonds with people and would make a devoted companion for the right person.
