Aengus forms very strong bonds with his people and loves nothing more than being close to them-ideally curled up on a lap. Due to severe separation anxiety, Aengus is looking for a home with at least two adults who can ensure he is not left alone for long periods. He would suit a household where someone is around for most of the day and where his need for companionship can be accommodated. Aengus is initially nervous around new people and can take a little time to build trust. However, once he gets to know someone, he forms incredibly strong and loyal bonds. His current foster home has seen him blossom in confidence, revealing a playful and loving personality that wasn’t immediately apparent when he first arrived. He enjoys playing with his ball and loves getting out for walks, making him a wonderful companion for people who enjoy spending time outdoors as well as relaxing at home. For Aengus’s comfort and wellbeing, he would be happiest as the only pet in the home, allowing him to receive the attention and stability he needs. As a Miniature Poodle, Aengus’s coat requires regular maintenance to keep it healthy and comfortable.
