Bruno is a fun-loving, one-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Lurcher with a huge personality and an even bigger zest for life. Full of energy and enthusiasm, he’s looking for an active home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit and provide him with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation to help him thrive. Bruno has absolutely thrived in his foster home and is showing just how much he has to offer. He’s currently loving his beach days, making the most of every opportunity to explore, sniff, run and enjoy the great outdoors. His foster home has really helped him blossom, and it’s wonderful to see him enjoying life and gaining confidence in a home environment. Bruno is an incredibly bright and switched-on boy who loves learning new things. He really enjoys training sessions and picking up new tricks, making him an ideal companion for adopters who are looking for a dog they can work with and continue to develop. Whether it’s mastering new skills, taking on fun training challenges, or even having a go at activities like agility or scent work, Bruno is always eager to learn and please. Bruno is a sociable boy who enjoys spending time with other dogs and would love a home where he can continue to meet and play with canine friends on walks. While he gets on well with other dogs, we feel he would benefit from being the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy all the love, attention, and one-to-one training he deserves. Bruno could live with children aged 12 years and over who are confident around larger dogs and understand how to interact with them respectfully. His playful nature means he’ll make a fantastic companion for a family that enjoys getting outdoors and including their dog in everyday adventures. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and energetic best friend who’s always ready for the next walk, training session, beach day or adventure, Bruno could be the perfect match for you! .errordiv { padding:10px; margin:10px; border: 1px solid #555555;color: #000000;background-color: #f8f8f8; width:500px; }#advanced_iframe {visibility:visible;opacity:1;vertical-align:top;}.ai-info-bottom-iframe { position: fixed; z-index: 10000; bottom:0; left: 0; margin: 0px; text-align: center; width: 100%; background-color: #ff9999; padding-left: 5px;padding-bottom: 5px; border-top: 1px solid #aaa } a.ai-bold {font-weight: bold;}#ai-layer-div-advanced_iframe p {height:100%;margin:0;padding:0}#advanced_iframe { visibility:hidden; } var ai_iframe_width_advanced_iframe = 0;var ai_iframe_height_advanced_iframe = 0;function aiReceiveMessageadvanced_iframe(event) { aiProcessMessage(event,"advanced_iframe", "true");}if (window.addEventListener) { window.addEventListener("message", aiReceiveMessageadvanced_iframe);} else if (el.attachEvent) { el.attachEvent("message", aiReceiveMessageadvanced_iframe);}var aiIsIe8=false;var aiOnloadScrollTop="true";var aiExtraSpace=200;var aiShowDebug=false; if (typeof aiReadyCallbacks === 'undefined') { var aiReadyCallbacks = []; } else if (!(aiReadyCallbacks instanceof Array)) { var aiReadyCallbacks = []; } function aiShowIframeId(id_iframe) { jQuery("#"+id_iframe).css("visibility", "visible"); } function aiResizeIframeHeight(height) { aiResizeIframeHeight(height,advanced_iframe); } function aiResizeIframeHeightId(height, width,id) {aiResizeIframeHeightById(id,height);}var ifrm_advanced_iframe = document.getElementById("advanced_iframe");var hiddenTabsDoneadvanced_iframe = false; function resizeCallbackadvanced_iframe() {} Show more Show less .vehica-gallery-thumbs .vehica-swiper-slide { width: calc(100% / 0 - 17px); } @media (min-width: 900px) { .vehica-gallery-thumbs .vehica-swiper-slide { width: calc(100% / 3 - 17px); } } @media (min-width: 1200px) { .vehica-gallery-thumbs .vehica-swiper-slide { width: calc(100% / 5 - 17px); } } {{ galleryProps.activeIndex + 1 }}/5 Upcoming Events London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 Animals in Need of Your Help Help Big Mike See Clearly Again Support & Advice A Guide to Responsible Pet Ownership Follow us Donate Report Cruelty-RSPCA Adopting An Animal Work with us Privacy, Compliments & Complaints Sign-up for our Newsletter 01453 890 014 [email protected] The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, Beechmeadow Farm, Elmcote Lane, Cambridge, Gloucestershire, GL2 7AS To report cruelty or an animal in distress call 0300 1234 999 Copyright © 2022 All rights reserved – RSPCA Cotswolds, Gloucester & District Branch CIO – The Cotswold Dogs & Cats Home - Registered Charity No: 1207042 Keep up

She’s full of playful energy, a true bouncy bundle of joy who’s always ready for a cuddle or a zoom around the garden. Cara is a homebody at her core. She absolutely adores her home comforts and can often be found lazing on the sofa. She has no idea how big she is – she’s very much a “chihuahua in a mastiff’s body”, convinced she’s a lap dog and happiest when soaking up all the cuddles she can get! Cara is incredibly affectionate with the people she knows and trusts, but she can be wary of unfamiliar people, particularly men. She needs slow, positive introductions on her terms, outside the home with plenty of tasty treats (hot dogs are a favourite!). It’s really important that people are respectful of her boundaries. Because of this, she’s looking for a calm and understanding home with older children aged 15+ who can appreciate when she needs space and allow her to build relationships at her own pace. When it comes to training, Cara is a bright spark. She responds well to positive reinforcement and enjoys learning, especially when food is involved. She’ll need adopters who are committed to continuing her training and helping her manage new or challenging situations. Cara also has a wonderfully goofy, energetic side. She loves nothing more than running around like the clown she is, and trips to secure fields where she can stretch her legs and let off steam are an absolute must for her. Cara is friendly with other dogs on walks and enjoys parallel walks with canine companions. While she loves human attention and affection, she could happily share her home with another dog who matches her energy and complements her personality. Cara’s Ideal Home: • A calm household with older children aged 15+ • A quiet environment with minimal visitors • Access to secure fields for regular off-lead zoomies • A comfy sofa and plenty of home comforts • Cara could live with another dog who matches her energy • A family committed to giving her the time, structure, and love she needs to thrive Cara is looking for a special family who will give her the time, structure, and love she needs to feel secure. If you think Cara could be the missing piece in your life, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch by completing the Perfect Match Form below.

She’s loyal, loving, and deeply devoted to her people. A true Staffy at heart, Cleo is bold and boisterous when it’s playtime, yet wonderfully sensitive and affectionate when it’s time to relax. She adores curling up in a cozy spot for a snooze, but don’t be fooled – she’s also full of energy and loves getting out and about on her walks. One of Cleo’s absolute favorite games is a good old tug-of-war… although soft teddies beware, as they tend to get de-stuffed immediately! Cleo thrives when she has her people around her and makes a fantastic companion. She’s a friendly girl who enjoys meeting everyone she comes across and loves being part of the family. Because she struggles with being left for long periods, she would be best suited to a home where someone is around for much of the day to keep her company. Cleo is good with other dogs when introductions are carried out appropriately. In her foster home, she has made dog friends and enjoys running around the secure field with them. Taking the time for calm, controlled introductions helps set her up for success and allows her to build positive relationships with other dogs. Cleo is a loving, people-focused girl who will reward the right home with endless loyalty, affection, and joyful Staffy smiles. She’s ready to settle into a home where she can feel secure, loved, and truly part of the family. Meet Daisy Daisy is a beautiful girl around 1 year old who is looking for a patient and understanding family to help her blossom. Like many young dogs, Daisy can be a little nervous when meeting new people, preferring to take her time to get to know someone. However, once you’ve earned her trust, you’ll discover an incredibly affectionate companion who absolutely loves a cuddle and is happiest curled up on your lap. Beneath her shy exterior is a sweet, loving dog with so much potential. Daisy is looking for adopters who will allow her to settle at her own pace, using kindness, patience, and positive reinforcement to help build her confidence. Watching Daisy come out of her shell and show her playful, affectionate personality is incredibly rewarding. We feel Daisy would thrive as the only dog in the home, where she can continue to grow in confidence without sharing her living space. Although she would prefer not to live with another dog, we do think she would benefit from having calm, confident doggy friends. With careful introductions and time, she would enjoy walking alongside other friendly dogs, allowing her to build positive social experiences, learn from confident canine companions, and continue growing in confidence at her own pace. Daisy could live with children aged 15 years and over who are calm, patient, and understanding of a nervous dog. She is looking for a family who will respect her boundaries, allow her to approach new situations in her own time, and continue building her confidence through positive experiences. Daisy would love a home that can continue her training, provide plenty of enrichment, and most importantly, offer lots of love and reassurance. In return, she’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a devoted companion who will be by your side through thick and thin. Having been born and raised in one home without experiencing the outside world, everything is still very new to him and at times, a little overwhelming. Despite this, Flynn is making wonderful progress and is showing us just how gentle, loving, and eager to connect he truly is. Because of his limited early experiences, Flynn will need a quiet home and would be best suited to living with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to interact gently and respectfully with him. Flynn could live with another suited dog that would help him build his confidence. He is still learning about the world around him and will benefit from a calm, predictable environment where he can feel safe. In time, once he has settled and built up his confidence, we feel he could really benefit from positive, controlled interactions with calm and friendly dogs belonging to family or friends. Mirabel is a lovely 18-month-old French Bulldog looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to grow in confidence. When meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar environments, Mirabel can initially be quite nervous and will need adopters who are willing to take things at her pace. With gentle encouragement, positive reinforcement, and consistent confidence-building, she has the potential to blossom into a much more relaxed and self-assured dog. Once Mirabel gets to know someone, her true personality shines through. Seeing a familiar face is one of her favorite things, and she’ll happily run over with a wiggly body and excited tail wag to greet the people she trusts. She forms strong bonds with those around her and is a very affectionate companion once she feels comfortable. Mirabel is comfortable walking alongside other dogs and can enjoy their company. However, she can be a little unsure when meeting unfamiliar dogs, so she is looking for adopters who are happy to manage introductions carefully and positively. Taking the time to ensure interactions are calm, friendly, and rewarding will help her continue to build confidence around other dogs. Due to her sensitive nature, Mirabel could live with sensible children aged 10 years and over who can understand when she needs space and allow her to settle at her own pace. While she can walk happily with other dogs, we feel Mirabel would benefit from being the only pet in the home, allowing her adopters to focus on building her confidence and helping her settle into her new life. Mirabel would thrive with adopters who can provide a calm, predictable environment and who will celebrate the small steps of progress along the way. In return, they will gain a loyal, loving little dog whose happy, wiggly greetings make every day brighter. If you are looking for a rewarding companion and are prepared to help a young dog build her confidence, Mirabel could be the perfect match for you.
