This beautiful boy is on the search for his forever home. Unfortunately, due to ill health and mobility issues, Alfie’s previous owner had to make the difficult decision to give him up, as they could no longer manage his needs. We have known Alfie for some time, as he has boarded with us in the past, and we know that rehoming him was truly a last resort. He was clearly very loved and cared for.Alfie is an incredibly handsome young boy with a striking appearance and a personality to match. He loves attention and is always happy to make new friends. However, because his previous owner was struggling, Alfie has had little to no formal training. He will need work on basic commands, walking nicely on a lead, recall, and general manners. He is still very much a puppy at heart and is continuing to explore the world around him. Alfie doesn’t quite realise his own size and can be a little over-enthusiastic at times!Alfie is an incredibly friendly and excitable boy who wants to say hello to everyone he meets, people and dogs alike. We are working hard to improve his lead walking and help him manage his excitement, but he will need an owner who understands larger breeds and is committed to continuing his training and development.Alfie's ideal home:An active household that can provide him with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and adventures.Owners with experience of larger breeds and an understanding of their needs.Committed adopters who are willing to put the time and effort into his ongoing training and development. Can live with other dogs, subject to successful meet-and-greets and compatible introductions. With the right guidance, consistency, and plenty of love, Alfie has the potential to become a wonderful companion. He is a loving, affectionate boy who just needs someone willing to invest the time in his training and help him become the best version of himself. In return, you'll gain a loyal, fun-loving, and very handsome best friend for life.
