About DCGR

Dumfriesshire & Cumbria Greyhound Rescue is dedicated to finding loving forever homes or foster placements for retired or injured ex-racing greyhounds. The charity never puts a healthy dog to sleep and will continue searching for the right home for as long as it takes. Run entirely by volunteers, all funds are raised through events, donations, and sales from the charity shop. Every penny of income goes directly toward the welfare, care, and support of the greyhounds in their care, ensuring each dog gets the second chance they deserve.

With his gorgeous thick black coat and loving eyes, he is the epitome of tall, dark and handsome.Bob is already living in a foster home so is used to all the sights and sounds of home life, is spotlessly clean indoors, can gallop up a flight of stairs and is a super fast learner. He has happily met dogs of all sizes and shapes and is delighted to take on new experiences. And toys? Ah well, toys are Bob’s greatest joy, he would love a home with a little garden to zoom around with his toys and will make you laugh with his funny antics. He travels wonderfully in the car, jumping straight in and is eager to get out on his adventures; he doesn’t want to miss a moment, so he can start a little strong on the lead but is learning to relax as that big exciting world will still be there tomorrow and the day after! Please come and meet Bob.
