Meet Bambi, affectionately known as Little Poe!Poe is a 4-year, 10-month-old Chihuahua cross with a huge personality packed into a small frame. This affectionate little guy loves spending time with people and enjoys getting out and about to explore the world around him.When Poe first came into our care, he was very nervous and unsure of his new surroundings. Since then, he has made incredible progress and has really come out of his shell. He now happily seeks out affection, enjoys spending time with the staff, and is always pleased to see familiar faces.Poe can be a little vocal around other dogs, so we feel he would be best suited as the only dog in the home for now while he continues to build his confidence. With ongoing positive experiences and support, we believe he will continue to flourish.Poe could potentially live with sensible, dog-savvy children following successful introductions.If you’re looking for a loving companion with plenty of character and a heart full of affection, Little Poe could be the perfect addition to your family.

* Special Home Needed *Bertie was born with what is commonly called ‘Wobbly Cat Syndrome ‘ . Wobbly Cat Syndrome affects cats coordination and balance. It is not painful or contagious and affected cats live normal lives with possibly a few modifications if needed. Bertie doesn’t know he has this syndrome, as far as he’s concerned he’s a cat and can do cat things.His behaviour is your normal young cat, he likes to play, he likes to eat and he likes to sit on your knee. We are looking for a quiet home with a regular routine. He could possibly live with another quiet cat but would not be happy with a dog or young children. Bertie is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Full of character, affection and enthusiasm for life, Bonnie is guaranteed to bring plenty of fun and laughter to her forever home.Bonnie is a very loving and affectionate girl who adores spending time with people. She thrives on attention and enjoys being involved in whatever her favourite humans are doing. Her happy, playful nature makes her a wonderful companion, but she is also a lively young dog with lots of energy to burn.Because of this, Bonnie is looking for an active household where exercise, training and enrichment will be an important part of her daily routine. She is eager to learn and has so much potential, but we don’t believe she has had much training in the past. She will therefore need owners who are committed to helping her develop her skills, continue her education and bring out the very best in her.When Bonnie gets excited, her enthusiasm can sometimes get the better of her and she can become a little boisterous. Jenny is a beautiful 9 year 7 month old merle Lurcher who looks very much like a Greyhound — and she has the wonderfully placid nature to match. Her stunning colouring and beautiful eyes perfectly reflect her gentle and loving personality; she truly is beautiful inside and out.She is an absolute delight to take out and about, happily strolling along by your side and taking everything in her stride.Jenny loves nothing more than laying beside you. She gives the classic Greyhound lean, gently resting into you for affection, which is simply lovely. While she enjoys a little playtime in the garden, she is just as happy settling down calmly beside you afterwards.Jenny is a very calm, gentle girl both in general and around other dogs. Salem is still looking for his perfect padWhen Salem first arrived he was a shy, nervous boy who hid in his igloo and only came out for food and on the rare occasion some affection. He has now settled in with us and starting showing his goofy side where he loves to roll around and look for attention. His tail fluffs up when he’s excited. He’s a chatty lad who takes an interest in any activities you’re doing.Salem loves his food (both wet and dry) and will obey your every command when you have a pouch in your hand, he loves a playtime chasing a wand toy and will provide endless entertainment. Although he came in with another cat he seems uncomfortable around the other cats in the shelter so we are looking for a home as an only pet. This loveable rogue is so unhappy in the shelter.Spike is a big lad tipping the scales at just over 5kg. He gives very solid head bumps . He is a lovely friendly boy. He loves attention and is very vocal in asking for it. Spike needs plenty of playtime, attention and room to explore. He is a real foody and tries to raid the rubbish bin at every opportunity. At 11 years old he thinks he’s still a kitten. Spike is not suitable to be rehomed with young children or dogs.
