Billy ( born June 2022) is a male greyhound who is tall, handsome, dark and keen so who would like to meet similar to be his owner! He is a confident, outgoing boy and very friendly. He is very good in the house and is doing well in foster care. He cannot live with cats or small furries. He is neutered and microchipped. Cahir ( born November 2025) is a broken coated female lurcher thought to have terrier, collie and saluki in her heritage. She loves to run and zoom about. Her ideal home would have lots of outside space and dogs to play with. She is has seen nothing outside kennels so will need a patient owner to help her learn about life as a pet and the outside world. Being a puppy, she will need a home with someone around a lot and willing to cope with puppyish behaviour. With careful introductions, we feel she could live with cats. She is microchipped and a non negotiable condition of adoption is that she will be spayed at the appropriate age and this will be overseen. Cashel( born November 2025) is a female lurcher thought to have saluki, collie and terrier in her heritage. She is good natured and playful but will need a confident dog or dogs to guide her. She requires an owner happy to give her the time to grow, learn and play ( she especially likes splashing in puddles!). With the usual careful introductions, she could live with cats. She would like a garden in which to safely play and being young would like a home with someone around a lot who is happy with puppyish traits. She is microchipped and that she will be spayed at the appropriate age, is a non- negotiable condition of adoption which will be overseen. Nivens McTwisp ( born September 2023) is a big male lurcher who would like a home with a confident, consistent handler who can read his body language as he can get overexcited on lead or push boundaries in play. He can be a little shy of sudden movements or people he does not know so would like to live in a quietish area. If he were to be an only dog, he would like someone around a reasonable amount. He needs an enclosed garden large enough to zoom about in. He could live with another dog of similar size preferably a matriarchal bitch who would play but who would take no nonsense if he overstepped the mark as he is wont to do, due to his youngster’s enthusiasm. Shambala (born around March 2025) is a very greyhound – like female lurcher who was picked up stray but now her luck has changed and she is looking for a forever home. She was able to survive on the streets as she is quite brave and adventurous so would like a busy home with a garden but also one that understands that she has never had guidance about how to be a pet. Stroll ( born Feb 2024) is a handsome medium sized male lurcher who, having been at the receiving end of rough treatment, is understandably a bit tentative around people he does not know but with time will unpack his bags and become a wonderful pet. He would like to live with another dog who could act as a sensible role model but also indulge his playful side from time to to time, as he is a youngster. Thiago (born April 25) is a young saluki lurcher boy who was rescued with a badly broken back leg. He was operated on and is now well on the way to recovery although will need slow lead walking to build up his muscle strength. Thiago is a happy, cheerful and playful chap who loves people and is good with other dogs. He walks well on the lead and is confident and well-behaved when out and about. Being young, he will need someone around a fair bit to begin with but should be able to be left for a few hours once settled in. He could live with respectful children.
