About Greenleaf Animal Rescue

Greenleaf Animal Rescue is an established UK animal welfare charity specialising in the rescue, rehoming, and lifelong sanctuary of unwanted or abandoned animals, including those with long-term medical or behavioural needs. The charity is currently focused on preventing dogs from being euthanised in council pounds after the seven-day holding period by working closely with local authorities. Every animal receives a full veterinary check and assessment before entering foster care or emergency boarding, where their health and temperament are further evaluated. All animals are neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped where possible, with thorough home checks and veterinary references completed prior to adoption. With public support, Greenleaf Animal Rescue is working towards a future where no animal is needlessly put to sleep.
