About Guardian Angels Dog Rescue

Guardian Angels Dog Rescue was founded in 2014 and is a volunteer-led, non-profit organisation dedicated to finding forever homes for rescue dogs across Southeast Kent. All dogs in their care are neutered and microchipped before rehoming, with thorough home checks and lifetime rescue backup provided. Dogs are primarily cared for in foster homes, with local kennels used only in special circumstances. Run entirely by volunteers and funded solely through donations and rehoming fees, the charity relies on public generosity to cover veterinary and kennel costs.

MIHAI is a very special boy… he is blind. He manages so well, we think he may have been born blind. When we found him, abandoned in the streets, blind and alone, he had been shot, as well as having a hernia in his diaphragm. Our wonderful vet was able to remove the bullet and repair the hernia… but there is no way of restoring his sight. Other than being blind, he is very healthy. We had hoped that he would have a home for his second birthday in June… but he’s still in the pens, waiting for his forever home.Because he is blind, MIHAI needs a home where things stay the same, and a large, safe garden where he can learn the layout and then be able to play. He’s not suitable for walks because he can’t see.MIHAI’s date of birth is 10/6/2023, making him just over two years old. He is a small dog, just 10kg and only 30cm (12 inches, or one LP size!) tall to the shoulder. He’ll travel to you with all his vaccinations, including rabies, chipped and with a passport, and tested for Brucella CanisDespite his horrific experiences, MIHAI is confident, loving, friendly and playful. He needs a family that will allow him the opportunity to learn his surroundings and who have a large open garden for him to play in.If you think you this beautiful boy might be the perfect dog for you, please contact Jenny Read . We rehome to mainland UK, but we can’t rehome to homes with young children or homes where MAHAI will be left alone for prolonged periods. To adopt please call Jenny Read Zoe home rescue Romania07530639546Currently Mihla is Romania and after successful homecheck can travel

Toby, a 3 years old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Labrador available for adoption from Guardian Angels Dog Rescue in Kent

Toby

Kent
SexMale
Age3 years
BreedCavalier King Charles Spaniel x Labrador

Hi my name is Toby and I am a spainiel x LabI am a 3yr old medium size boyI cannot live with young kids,Can live with dogs -dependant on dog and careful introductionNo cats or small furriesVaccinations up to dateToby is a sweet, super affectionate, cuddly, playful young boy. Initially it does take him a while to suss people out but once he’s knows them all those things follow. He loves water and toys but most importantly his ball. He also loves his bed and a good old snooze. He is extremely food driven and is very easily trained. He does have slight difficulty when it comes to his recall as if he sees or smells something then he is off and can sometimes pull when on his lead, however he will walk to heel when treats are involved. He’s also happy to be left at homeToby does have a few allergies but is kept at bay with allergy ear drop medication and he’s also raw food fed which helps with this.Toby will need careful introduction with new dogs.He does react to the door bell and will charge at people when they enter through excitement to see who they are. But as soon as he is given a treat he is fine. More of a let him come to you type approach.Toby will make a wonderful addition to someone’s home, he isn’t suitable for a home with children due to his fast reaction to things around him. He would be good with children over 16 years old as loves to play and cuddle. We also think he would be best on his own or with one other companion for company. So kids 16+No cats or small furriesWould prefer to be the only dog but may be ok with gentle introductionCT postcodeFill the form in www.guardianangelsdogrescue.co.uk
