About Holbrook Animal Rescue

Holbrook Animal Rescue was founded in 1992 after a local family began rescuing horses and ponies at risk of slaughter, eventually caring for over 160 equines and offering lifelong sanctuary to those in need. Guided by the belief that every animal deserves kindness, safety and respect, the rescue later expanded to help dogs, small pets and injured wildlife before gradually focusing primarily on dog rescue. Still proudly family-run, Holbrook combines hands-on practical care with deep compassion, providing rehabilitation, rehoming and sanctuary for animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Hank

Age6 months
BreedUnknown

Hank arrived at Holbrook with his two siblings - Wanda and Tom - and he is definitely the most confident of the trio! He is still a little shy and finding his feet at Holbrook but he is enjoying being around the volunteers (once he knows you he enjoys a cuddle on your lap) and being amongst the other dogs. He has had a little lead practice and been in the car which he's taken in his stride.Suitable Home - Hank is searching for a home with experienced Owners who have the time and patience to bring out the best in him and teach him plenty about the big wide world. He seeks confidence amongst the other dogs so requires a home with a confident companion dog of a similar age.
