About Home A Labrador

Labrador Rescue North West is a voluntary, non-profit rescue founded in 1995 to help Labradors who have become unwanted or homeless through no fault of their own, often due to changes in their owners’ circumstances. The charity is dedicated to responsible rehoming, ensuring each dog is carefully assessed and matched to a suitable home while also educating the public about the true commitments of Labrador ownership. Dogs are cared for at dedicated kennels at Malt Kiln Farm, where they receive high standards of welfare, exercise, and individual assessment in a secure paddock environment. Funded entirely by donations and supporters, the rescue never treats dogs as disposable and believes strongly in companionship, enrichment, and quality of life. As an approved breed rescue listed by The Kennel Club, Labrador Rescue North West continues to provide a trusted lifeline for Labradors in need.
