Blue came in to our care from another rescue that was closing down and he was at risk of having nowhere to go.Blue is an Australian Cattle Dog, also known as a Blue Heeler. They are a working breed and are are highly intelligent, loyal and incredibly energetic, thriving off mental and physical stimulation. Blue will need someone who can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental enrichment in order for him to live a fulfilled life.We are ideally looking for someone that has experience with this breed and understands their breed traits. We can discuss Blue in more detail with anyone who is interested in adopting him.As far as we are aware, he has never been around children. This combined with his boisterous nature means we will not be looking to place him in a home with children.Blue seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and may even benefit from living with another dog so we are open to doggy meet and greets.

It breaks our hearts to think of what Bruno must have gone through, but it gives us such relief to know that he was rescued in time, before the worst happened. His journey to a full recovery will be a slow and careful process involving veterinary care, a controlled feeding regime to get them gradually back to a healthy weight, and most importantly lots of love. Although he still has quite a way to go before he’s back to full health, we feel that he is now ready to find his forever home and that he will benefit greatly from being in a home environment with a loving family. Bruno will need an adult only home with someone who is willingly to support him in his recovery and provide him with a calm and safe environment to flourish in. Harper was adopted from us back in 2021 but has sadly had to be returned to us due to not getting along with the other dog in the house.He is a large crossbreed who originally came across from Romania as a puppy.He is a loveable character who will make a wonderful companion in the right home.He walks really well on a lead but he does have the size and strength to pull towards something of interest so he will need someone who can manage him.Whilst being here, he has passed some dogs happily with no reaction at all but has taken a disliking to others. We will be looking to place him as an only dog.

Hendrix cme to us via the stray system and has remained unclaimedHe is around 2 years old and has a very sweet nature. Since arriving with us he has loved all of the team and meeting new peopleIn typical lurcher fashion, he loves having a run in our off lead paddock and playing with his toys. He has enjoed the company of other dogs and wants to play and gets very excited around them…Hendrix can be rehomed with other dogs, pending successful meets at the centreHe can be rehomed with children 7 + years and older

Meet Jasper Jasper is a 7 month old lurcher who was originally adopted from us at around 4 months old. However, unfortunately has returned for being too much and displaying typical puppy behaviours He is a lively, boisterous boy, who will need someone patient that is willing to put time in to teach him some manners.Jasper can be vocal when meeting new people and dogs, however, he is friendly with everyone he meets. Missy is an Asian Shepherd. She is a large dog, of around 45kg, but she is a gentle giant.She came in to us after being left in a house for a week!She loves company and will happily throw her bum at you for a good scratch.She is around 5 years old but doesnt act it! She is friendly with dogs she has met here wanting to play with them.As with a lot of larger breeds, she does have a stubborn side, but she loves treats and they work wonders

Poor Polly found herself in the stray kennels and in need of a new homeShe is a Large Labrador Cross who needs someone who can give her some time and understanding to feel secure.Polly can be a little wary initially when meeting new people so she will require an understanding home with previous dog experience.She loves her time in our off lead paddock and has a real playful side! Her favourite game is fetch with a tennis ball and she would play it all day if she could!As she has an unknown history, we cannot rehome her with resident or visiting young children. A home with dog savvy children of 16 years and upwards would be considered.

ATTENTION FRENCHIE LOVERS Say hello to Pudding Pudding came into us at the end of last year after being unclaimed as a stray and was then adopted, but unfortunately has been returned due to his new owners not being able to manage his behaviour Like many rescues, Pudding comes with some behaviours that we see fairly regularly. He resource guards, but this is something that can be managed successfully with the right understanding and routine. We will thoroughly guide any potential adopters through his management plan, offering advice and support to help set both Pudding and his new family up for success Aside from this, Pudding is an absolute sweetheart. He is incredibly affectionate and loves being around his people and is always ready for a nap on the sofa True to his name, he adores his food and you’ll have a best friend for life if you provide the snacks (however, he has come back to us a little heavier, so is now on a little weight loss journey). He also loves getting out for walks and exploring the world by your side Pudding is looking for a commited home that is willing to give him the time, patience and structure he deserves. Ralph is a French Bulldog of around 5 years old.He came into our care with an untreated leg injury which rended the leg unuseable and it was also causing him severe discomfortThis leg has now been removed and the difference in Ralph is amazing to see. Every day as he heals, he becomes happier and more at ease with himself, and life which shows just how much pain he must have been in beforeThe time is now right for Ralph to find his forever home…..We are looking for a child and pet free home for Ralph where he can re-adjust, gain his confidence and settle into a new home.

Prior to coming into our care, Sam and his siblings had never left their house and yard. They had never stepped out into the big wide world and as a result, we welcomed 3 very scared, anxious and un-socialised puppies into our fold.Sam, Frank and Able all found new homes not too long after arriving but sadly, after some time in his home, it was realised that Sam’s needs were much greater than initially anticipated and we are now trying to find Sam a home that is better suited to his needs.Sam is a very sweet boy. He can be nervous of new people and can bark at new visitors to the house, but he soon warms to people with lots of reassurance and treats and he loves cuddles and fusses with trusted people and is very affectionate.He loves playing fetch and running around in secure fields and, as you can see, he is also highly skilled at carrying two balls at a time!He’s smart and learns things quickly and is now fully house trained.

Spike came to us through no fault of his ownWe have very little information on Spike but we think he is around 2 years old.Spike enjoys a good run around in our off lead paddock.Whilst on walks he gets very enthusiastic around other dogs and can be quite strong. He would benefit from some training. He is very food orientated so this should help!We believe he has lived with a dog before so may be able to live with another dog, subject to meet and greet.
