Hi, I’m Bao Bun I’m a 2-year-old Pomeranian searching for a calm, understanding home where I can continue learning that life doesn’t have to be so scary. I’ve lived quite a sheltered life up until now, so lots of everyday things are still very new to me. Because of this, I need patient people who will help me explore the world slowly and gently, at my own pace.I would really benefit from living with another small, confident dog who can help show me that new experiences are okay. Having a calm canine friend around gives me reassurance and helps me feel safer while I settle in.I’m a sensitive little girl, so I’m looking for a quieter home with children aged 14+ who understand that I may need space and time to build trust and confidence.Once I’m fully settled and comfortable in my new routine, I can be left for around 2 hours. My new family will need to understand that settling in may take time, and that patience and consistency will be really important for me.Underneath my nervous side, I’m a sweet, gentle little companion who just needs someone willing to help me discover how lovely life can be. Watching my confidence grow will be incredibly rewarding for the right home.If you think you could offer me the calm, loving, patient home I need, I’d love to hear from you Key info: Small breed, Children 14+, Secure garden, Dog friendly - in the home, Can be left alone for 2 hrs, Needs a canine companion in the home

I love showing off how loyal and affectionate I can be, and whether we’re playing fetch or sniffing out new smells on a walk, I’m always curious about the world around me.I enjoy people very much, but I find other dogs to be overwhelming for me when I’m out and about, so I need experienced and understanding owners who are willing to work with my dog reactivity behaviours, and who can give me space from other dogs on walks. I need to be the only pet in the home where I can soak up all the love and attention, and I can live with children aged 11+. Hi, I’m Dumplin I’m a 3-year-old Pomeranian looking for a very special home with patient people who understand that the world can feel a little scary sometimes. I’ve had quite a sheltered life so far, so I’m still learning that new places, sounds, and experiences can be safe and fun. Because of this, I need slow, steady introductions and lots of kindness while I build my confidence. One thing that really helps me feel secure is having another small, confident dog around. I take comfort from watching other dogs and would love a calm canine friend who can show me the ropes and help me settle into family life.Once I’ve settled and feel safe, I can be left for around 2 hours, but my new family will need to give me time to adjust first. I’m not the kind of dog who will walk into a new home feeling brave right away — I need patience, understanding, and a gentle routine.I could live with sensible children aged 14+ who understand that I’m a sensitive girl and won’t expect too much from me too quickly. I need people who will let me come to them in my own time and celebrate the little wins with me.In return, I’m a sweet little companion with so much potential. Underneath my worried side is a lovely girl who just needs someone willing to help me discover how good life can be. Once I trust you, I love nothing more than a cuddle in your lap If you think you could offer me the calm, loving, understanding home I need, I’d love to hear from you Please apply for me below or get in touch with the Nottinghamshire team to find out more about me! BreedDalmatian

Hi, I’m Flora I’m a young Dalmatian with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! I can be a little bouncy and excitable at times (okay… a lot of the time), but that’s all part of my charm. I’m still learning about the world and how to be the very best version of myself. One important thing about me—I’m deaf. It doesn’t stop me from enjoying life one bit, but it does mean I’m looking for a special kind of human. I need someone patient, understanding, and excited to continue my training using kind, positive methods. If you’ve had a deaf dog before, that would be amazing… but what matters most is your willingness to learn with me.I really need to have a doggy friend in my new home. I need a confident, medium-to-large dog who can show me the ropes and help me grow into a well-rounded adult. I do love to play, so I hope they’ll enjoy a good game as much as I do!I’m looking for a home with a secure garden where I can stretch my legs and burn off some of my puppy energy. I’d be happiest in an adult-only home. Also, no cats or small furries please—I just can’t resist the urge to chase them!Once I’ve settled in, I’m okay being left on my own for a couple of hours, especially after a nice walk.I’m a fun, loving girl with so much potential, just waiting for the right people to help me shine. If you think we could be the perfect match, I’d love to meet you. Josie, a 8 months old female Siberian Husky available for adoption from Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Lincolnshire

Josie

Lincolnshire
SexFemale
Age8 months
BreedSiberian Husky

Hi, I’m Josie it is great to meet you!I’m a small Husky cross who came into rescue alongside a few of my siblings, and I’ve been in foster care getting ready for my forever home. I was born in mid-September, so I’m only 7 months old, and being such a young girl the ‘outside’ can be a scary place, but I’ve been learning about the big wide world and taking it all in my stride. I’m hoping to find owners that will continue to grow my confidence and help me flourish Here’s a little bit you need to know about me: I can sometimes feel unsure when I’m faced with new or unfamiliar things. I’m also quite sensitive to noises, but I am getting better with this recently. I’ve spent time in homes during my time at JG and I LOVEEEEE lounging on a sofa, it’s my favourite thing to do!I really enjoy playing with other dogs and I have lots of fun when I meet them, but I’m not quite ready to live with another dog just yet, so I’d need to be the only pet in the home for now so I can fully settle and feel secure.I’m not used to the hustle and bustle of a busy household, so I’d much prefer to live in an adult only property with a low visitor load while I am settling in. If you are around while I’m settling in that would be perfect. I’m working on building bonds with people and I can get myself a little worried when I’m left, so if you’re looking for a companion whilst you work from home, I may be the girl for you! I promise I’ll keep myself entertained, I could even curl up on a cosy bed in the corner of the room while you work. Once we are best friends, you will see my affectionate side appear — the girls at JG think I am the biggest cuddle monster going! A secure 6ft garden would be ideal for me, giving me a safe space to explore and helping with my ongoing training and routine With time, patience, and reassurance, I know I’ll continue to blossom into a loving, loyal companion To apply for me, please click “Click here to apply for this dog” below.Key info: Adults only, Medium breed, Secure garden, Dog friendly - on walks, Needs to build leaving hours

Hi there… I’m Maggie I’m a 4-year-old whippet cross, and if I could sum myself up in one sentence, it would be: “professional best friend.” I absolutely love people — honestly, I haven’t met one yet that I didn’t want to say hello to! Whether you’re family, a visitor, or someone I spot on a walk, I’ll be ready with a waggy tail and my biggest smile.I’m a fun, playful girl too. My toys are some of my favourite things, and I’m always up for a game or a little zoom around. Speaking of zoomies… I really hope my new home has a nice, secure garden, because I love to stretch my legs, run fast, and just enjoy being my silly, happy self.Walks are another highlight of my day. I enjoy getting out and about, exploring new places, and taking in all the sights and smells. I can have doggy walking buddies when I’m out, but at home I’d prefer to be the only pet so I can soak up all the love and attention (and give it right back!).I could live with children aged 11 and over who understand that sometimes I might need a little space to relax after all my adventures. When it comes to being left alone, I’ll need a bit of help settling in at first. Short leaving times to begin with will really help me feel safe and secure, but with time and patience, this could be built up to around 2–4 hours. What I’m really looking for is a home where I can be part of the family — going on walks, playing with my toys, having cuddles, and just being your loyal companion. If you’re looking for a loving, friendly, slightly zoomy best friend… I think we might be perfect for each other.Love,Maggie Key info: Children 11+, Housetrained, Medium breed, Secure garden, Only pet in the home, Can be left alone for 2 hrs

Hi, I’m Minnie – a tiny little dog with an enormous heart just waiting to be shared with the right family. I may be extra small in size, but I’ve got so much love to give once I feel safe and comfortable with you I can be quite nervous at first, so I’m looking for a very special, understanding home that will give me the time, patience, and gentle encouragement I need to build a strong bond and grow in confidence. Once I trust you, I’m a sweet and loving companion who just wants to be close to my favourite people.I’m naturally more drawn to women, so I would feel happiest in a female-only home where I can truly relax and feel secure. I have lived around children before, but because I’m such a tiny girl, any children in the home will need to be calm, gentle, and understanding of my size and sensitive nature.I enjoy short, gentle walks where I can take my time exploring the world around me without feeling overwhelmed. After a little stroll, I’m more than happy to curl up somewhere cosy beside my favourite person.I can be left alone for up to 4 hours once settled, and I’d love a quiet home environment where I can continue to blossom at my own pace.If you have a kind heart, a gentle approach, and room on your sofa for a little dog who just wants to feel safe and loved, I could be your perfect match ️Key info: Small breed, Children 11+, Housetrained, Secure garden, Can be left alone for 4 hrs

Patrick, a 6 years old male Greyhound available for adoption from Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Lincolnshire

Patrick

Lincolnshire

BreedGreyhound

Hi, I’m Patrick I’m a handsome ex-racing Greyhound, now looking for a calm and understanding home where I can enjoy my retirement. Life after racing is all a bit new to me, so I’ll need someone patient who can help me take things at my own pace while I figure out the world.I do have quite a strong prey drive (it’s in my nature!), which means I can’t live with cats, small dogs, birds, or anything small and fluffy. I might be able to live with another dog my size who has a similar calm temperament, as long as we’re introduced properly. One thing I’d really love is a secure garden with 6ft fencing so I can have a good run around and show off my zoomies – I promise they’re worth watching! Because I can be a little nervous around busy roads and traffic, I’d feel much more comfortable in a semi-rural home where things are quieter.I could live with children aged 11 and over, especially if they understand that I sometimes need a bit of space to relax and feel safe.I’d be a great match for someone who already knows a bit about Greyhounds, or someone willing to learn about what makes us special. Once I feel settled, I’ve got lots of love to give and I’m really looking forward to finding my forever home Key info: Large breed, Children 11+, Secure garden, Dog friendly - in the home, Can be left alone for 2 hrs

Hi, I’m Quinton – a lively, bouncy ex-racing Greyhound with a big personality and an even bigger heart! I’m a happy boy who loves everyone I meet and I’m so excited to start life in a home for the very first time. Everything is still new to me, but I’m ready to learn and enjoy all the comforts that come with being a much-loved pet.I’m full of enthusiasm and can be quite bouncy when I’m excited, so I’m looking for a home with children aged 14+ who are comfortable around a fun-loving, energetic lad like me. I’ll also need a secure garden with 6ft fencing where I can safely stretch my legs, play, and relax.Because I used to race, I have a strong prey drive, which means I can’t live with cats, small dogs, or any small fluffy pets. However, I could potentially live with another Greyhound or a dog of a similar size and calm temperament, pending successful introductions.I can currently be left alone for around 2 hours and, once I’ve settled into home life and built my confidence, this could gradually be increased. What I really want is a family who will guide me through this exciting new chapter with patience, kindness, and lots of love. In return, I promise plenty of smiles, affection, and happy tail wags every single day.Key info: Large breed, Children 14+, Secure garden, Dog friendly - on walks, Can be left alone for 2 hrs

Rory, a 3 years old male Labrador available for adoption from Jerry Green Dog Rescue in Lincolnshire

Rory

BreedLabrador

Woof! Hello there, I’m Rory I’m a big, bouncy, silly boy looking for my forever home, and I’ve got lots of love (and energy!) to give I don’t always realise quite how big I am, so I tend to bounce through life with enthusiasm, joy, and sometimes a bit of clumsiness too—your typical Labrador! My favourite things in the world are countryside walks where I can stretch my legs , playing with my toys , and doing full-speed zoomies—especially if there’s a nice secure garden where I can really let my goofy side shine. I promise you, I take my zoomies very seriously… even if I don’t always take my manners seriously yet! I’m still learning how to be my best boy, so I’ll need a family who can help me with my training and guide me gently as I figure things out. Because of my bouncy nature and size, I’d be best suited to an adult only household—I’m a bit too boisterous for children.I’d like to be the only pet in my new home so I can soak up all the attention (and not get distracted from my important business of being adorable and energetic). Once I’ve settled in properly and had some gradual training with being on my own, I should be able to be left for up to 2 hours.Mostly, I’m just looking for someone who will understand that I’m a big softie with a lot of energy, a lot of love, and not always the best idea of my own size With patience, guidance, and plenty of walks and playtime, I know I’ll grow into an amazing companion. If you’ve got space in your home—and your heart—for a big bouncy boy learning his manners with lots of soft toys available, I might just be your Rory Key info: Large breed, Secure garden, Only pet in the home, Can be left alone for 2 hrs

Squash

Age10 years
BreedPomeranian

Hello… I’m Squash I’m an older girl now, and life has been a little quiet and sheltered for me up until recently. When I first arrived, I wasn’t in the best shape, but I’ve had a gentle tidy-up and a fresh trim, and I’m starting to feel much more comfortable. My coat is still growing back in places, but it’s getting there—slowly, like me.I’m a bit of a round lady (I do enjoy my comforts), so I’m on a careful journey to feel a little lighter and healthier. I take it all in my stride though—it just means I prefer life at a slower, steadier pace. What I really love—more than anything—is people. I’m a very affectionate little companion who just wants to be near you, quietly keeping you company, occasionally making you smile with my funny little ways. I don’t need much excitement, just a warm home, a soft bed, and someone who enjoys having a devoted old girl by their side.I may be able to live with cats or other small animals, but I haven’t had much experience, so I’d need gentle introductions and a bit of patience.I would suit a home where someone is around most of the time, as I do like company. If you do need to go out, that’s alright—we can build that up slowly together.I have some arthritis in my back legs, so long walks aren’t for me anymore. I’m much happier pottering about or having a short wander, and then settling down somewhere cosy. My medication keeps me comfortable, and the team will be happy to talk you through everything you need to know.A secure garden would be lovely—somewhere I can have a quiet wander and enjoy the fresh air at my own pace.I’m not looking for much. Just kindness, patience, and a home where I can feel safe and loved for the rest of my days. I may be an old girl, but I still have a lot of love to give… and a few gentle, funny quirks to keep you smiling Key info: Small breed, Cat friendly, Children 11+, Dog friendly - on walks, Needs to be housetrained, Needs to build leaving hours
