Beau, a 4 years old female Labrador available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

Beau

SexFemale
Age4 years
BreedLabrador

Beau is a stunning four year old crossbreed (Labrador, Weimaraner, staffy possibly) who needs a new home through no fault of her own. She is a stunning large breed girl (38kg) and adores people. She’s been around children 3+ with no issues so we would be happy to rehome her with sensible dog savvy children 3+. She has never lived with another dog and she will bark when she sees other dogs although her owners say she just wants to play so a home as an only dog or with a friendly neutered male would be suited. She isn’t suited to living with cats as she has never been around them. She is friendly with new people out and about and in her home although she can be excited and jump up for fuss. She can pull on her lead but with further training I think this would improve significantly and she is not unmanageable at all. She would suit an active home where she would get plenty of exercise. She loves her food (that would be the Lab!) and takes treats well. We are told she has good recall and loves to play ball. She travels ok and is fine to be left for reasonable periods. She is speyed and vaccinated and chipped. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet them where we are based in Alcester, Warwickshire. Our adoption fee is £250.

Bess, a 7 years old female Collie available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

BreedCollie

Bess is a seven year old medium sized crossbreed (looks similar to a collie) looking for an active home. Sadly her owner passed away and she’s not getting on with one of the other dogs she’s now living with. She is great with children 2 upwards and we would happily rehome her with children of that age. She is a no to cats/small furries and initially at least would be better suited as an only dog. Meets can be in Alcester or South Yorkshire

Dexter, a 1 year old male German Shepherd available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

BreedGerman Shepherd

Dexter is one year old German shepherd boy, needing a new home due to the ill health of his owner. Dexter is a very confident dog and can be quite bouncy. He’s starting to show signs of frustration and can be a little disruptive in the house. Again, this is just due to the fact his owner isn’t well and therefore he doesn’t get the walks and stimulation all young dogs need. He is a lovely dog and will flourish in the right home. He is good with children 2+ but as he can be very OTT we want a home with dog savvy children 10+. He’s good with other dogs but a no to cats. We would therefore be happy to find him a home with a friendly speyed/neutered dog to keep him company. We are told he is ok to be left for reasonable periods of time. He is not yet neutered but this will be done as part of the adoption process. He is vaccinated and chipped. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet them where he is in South Yorkshire. Our adoption fee is £250.

Lana, a 3 years old female Crossbreed available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

BreedCrossbreed

Lana is a stunning 3 year old crossbreed who needs a new home of her own through no fault of her own. She was originally saved from being beaten on the streets in Uzbekistan as a puppy and they thought from her markings she was a Jack Russell. However she is now 30kg and was far too large for the couple who saved her (who are in their 80s) to cope with. Their daughter brought her to the UK but lives in an apartment with no outdoor space and Lana simply doesn’t cope with city centre living and no garden. She’s a wonderful girl and happily met me at her assessment, had a sniff, licked my hand and trotted beside me. We are told she can be barky with some strangers, more so men but she was great yesterday. She lives with a male dog and until six months ago lived with cats so a home with another dog or with cats would be considered. She goes to daycare and is fine there but can sometimes be too OTT with some dogs if she doesn’t know them. We’ve no idea what mix she is but think there may be some hound in there as she can be vocal. She walks pretty well and is very food motivated which helps with training. She’s not been around children so a home with respectful teenagers or adult only is needed. She is vaccinated, speyed and chipped. Meets will be in Alcester

Luna, a 4 years old female Crossbreed available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

Luna

BreedCrossbreed

Luna is a tiny cocker spaniel cross (she only weighs 8kg) aged 4. She is a very nervous little girl who needs a calm, peaceful home who will give her the time and space to build her confidence. Her current owners took her in a year ago but were not told the truth about the type of home she needs (as often happens with private rehoming). She is finding living in a busy household with four children very stressful. As a result of the stress she has started to mess in the house and has snapped when very scared (she has never bitten and she was fully house trained when she arrived). She is good with other dogs and could happily be rehomed with a speyed/neutered dog pending successful introductions. We won’t rehome her with cats. She needs an adult only home as she finds the noise and sudden movements of children frightening. She is initially wary of new people but today at her assessment she was happy for a gentle stroke after she had a sniff. She takes a little longer to bond with men. She is very small and walks fine on a harness. She’s fine to be left for up to 4-5 hours. She travels ok in the car for short journeys but can get travel sick on long car rides. She is healthy and in great condition. She sleeps in her crate overnight and likes it as it is her safe space. She is vaccinated and chipped and will need to be speyed as part of the adoption process. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet them where they are in Alcester

Mikey, a 3 years old male Crossbreed available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

BreedCrossbreed

Mikey is a three year old miniature Daschund looking for a loving new home. He’s typical of the breed in that he loves the sound of his own voice when meeting new people! He’s good with other dogs and could live with another friendly speyed/neutered dog pending successful introductions. He’s also great with children and lives with two young ones. We would be happy for him to be rehomed with respectful children of any age. He’s not been around cats so won’t be rehomed with them. He loves to travel and would happily be in the car all day. He can howl if left for too long so would prefer a home where he will have company most of the time. He will need to be neutered and vaccinated as part of the adoption process. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet them where they are in Alcester. Our adoption fee is £250. As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet. Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet. For some dogs additional meets may be required and potential adopters will be required to travel to the dogs location for all meets. If you meet the criteria for this dog please call 07766 766252 8am-8pm to discuss (if your call is not answered please leave a voicemail and we will return your call).

Mist, a 7 years old male Bulldog available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

JLP Trust Animal Rescue

Mist

Warwickshire
SexMale
Age7 years
BreedBulldog

Mist is a stunning seven years young American bulldog boy who needs a new home due to his owners failing health. He’s good with cats, dogs and children! He lives with two cats, gets on great with friendly dogs although hasn’t lived with another dog, and has regularly been around children of all ages. So we are happy to rehome him with dog savvy cats, a friendly neutered dog and with respectful children who have lived with large breed dogs. He’s so friendly with everyone he meets and at his assessment he couldn’t have been more amazing. He’s a big lad but walks well, although when he wants to sniff you know about it given his size and weight. Hes in good condition and loves his walks - he’s certainly young for his age! He’s ok to be left for reasonable periods of time. He isn’t a fan of car travel so isn’t going to want a home where he has much of this, unless you’re willing to work with him on this - it’s evident he has some travel sickness and he doesn’t enjoy the journey. He’s chipped but not yet neutered or vaccinated and these will be done as part of the adoption process as he is still with his current owner at present.
