Axel, a 4 years old male Mastiff available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

JLP Trust Animal Rescue

Axel

Warwickshire
SexMale
Age4 years
BreedMastiff

Axel is a lovely 4 year old Mastiff. Axel currently lives with his wonderful family, who he has lived with since being a puppy. They’ve unfortunately had a change in circumstances, and Axel now needs a new forever home. He has lived with children since being a puppy, but he can be nervous of new people so we feel a sensible, experienced adult only home would be best for him. We are confident that with time and sensible introductions he would be happy around new children as he’s very loving and playful with the ones he knows and trusts. Axel hasn’t ever lived with another dog but he does love playing with another family member’s dog, and he’s been doing really well meeting new four legged friends recently and has even been enjoying off lead time with them so we feel with a number of sensible introductions he could live with another dog. He’s never been around cats so can’t be rehomed with them. Although he is a strong lad he walks very well on the lead, isn’t phased by busy roads, he’s far more interested in sniffing but he does need someone who is physically able to handle his size and strength. Meets will be in South Yorkshire

Beau, a 4 years old female Labrador available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

JLP Trust Animal Rescue

Beau

Warwickshire
SexFemale
Age4 years
BreedLabrador

Beau is a stunning four year old crossbreed (Labrador, Weimaraner, staffy possibly) who needs a new home through no fault of her own. She is a stunning large breed girl (38kg) and adores people. She’s been around children 3+ with no issues so we would be happy to rehome her with sensible dog savvy children 3+. She has never lived with another dog and she will bark when she sees other dogs although her owners say she just wants to play so a home as an only dog or with a friendly neutered male would be suited. She isn’t suited to living with cats as she has never been around them. She is friendly with new people out and about and in her home although she can be excited and jump up for fuss. She can pull on her lead but with further training I think this would improve significantly and she is not unmanageable at all. She would suit an active home where she would get plenty of exercise. She loves her food (that would be the Lab!) and takes treats well. We are told she has good recall and loves to play ball. She travels ok and is fine to be left for reasonable periods. She is speyed and vaccinated and chipped. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet them where we are based in Alcester, Warwickshire. Our adoption fee is £250.

Bess, a 7 years old female Crossbreed available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

Bess

Warwickshire
SexFemale
Age7 years
BreedCrossbreed

Bess is a seven year old medium sized crossbreed (looks similar to a collie) looking for an active home. Sadly her owner passed away and she’s not getting on with one of the other dogs she’s now living with. She is great with children 2 upwards and we would happily rehome her with children of that age. She is a no to cats/small furries and initially at least would be better suited as an only dog. Meets can be in Alcester or South Yorkshire

Chance, a 2 years old male German Shepherd available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

JLP Trust Animal Rescue

Chance

Warwickshire
SexMale
Age2 years
BreedGerman Shepherd

Chance is a 15 month old German shepherd who is proving to be a lovely sweet natured boy. He is dog friendly but would need a friendly, calm neutered companion to help him build his confidence. He has also regularly been around children as young as 2 but while he settles and has his operation/recovery time we are looking for a home where resident children are older and calm (8+). He isn’t cat tested and needs a home without felines. Chance is chipped and vaccinated and needs to be neutered quite urgently as he has an undescended testicle. This procedure will be done at our vets in Sheffield.

Dexter, a 1 year old male German Shepherd available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

JLP Trust Animal Rescue

Dexter

Warwickshire
SexMale
Age1 year
BreedGerman Shepherd

Dexter is one year old German shepherd boy, needing a new home due to the ill health of his owner. Dexter is a very confident dog and can be quite bouncy. He’s starting to show signs of frustration and can be a little disruptive in the house. Again, this is just due to the fact his owner isn’t well and therefore he doesn’t get the walks and stimulation all young dogs need. He is a lovely dog and will flourish in the right home. He is good with children 2+ but as he can be very OTT we want a home with dog savvy children 10+. He’s good with other dogs but a no to cats. We would therefore be happy to find him a home with a friendly speyed/neutered dog to keep him company. We are told he is ok to be left for reasonable periods of time. He is not yet neutered but this will be done as part of the adoption process. He is vaccinated and chipped. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet them where he is in South Yorkshire. Our adoption fee is £250.

Lana, a 3 years old female Crossbreed available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

JLP Trust Animal Rescue

Lana

Warwickshire
SexFemale
Age3 years
BreedCrossbreed

Lana is a stunning 3 year old crossbreed who needs a new home of her own through no fault of her own. She was originally saved from being beaten on the streets in Uzbekistan as a puppy and they thought from her markings she was a Jack Russell. However she is now 30kg and was far too large for the couple who saved her (who are in their 80s) to cope with. Their daughter brought her to the UK but lives in an apartment with no outdoor space and Lana simply doesn’t cope with city centre living and no garden. She’s a wonderful girl and happily met me at her assessment, had a sniff, licked my hand and trotted beside me. We are told she can be barky with some strangers, more so men but she was great yesterday. She lives with a male dog and until six months ago lived with cats so a home with another dog or with cats would be considered. She goes to daycare and is fine there but can sometimes be too OTT with some dogs if she doesn’t know them. We’ve no idea what mix she is but think there may be some hound in there as she can be vocal. She walks pretty well and is very food motivated which helps with training. She’s not been around children so a home with respectful teenagers or adult only is needed. She is vaccinated, speyed and chipped. Meets will be in Alcester

Mist, a 7 years old male Bulldog available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

JLP Trust Animal Rescue

Mist

Warwickshire
SexMale
Age7 years
BreedBulldog

Mist is a stunning seven years young American bulldog boy who needs a new home due to his owners failing health. He’s good with cats, dogs and children! He lives with two cats, gets on great with friendly dogs although hasn’t lived with another dog, and has regularly been around children of all ages. So we are happy to rehome him with dog savvy cats, a friendly neutered dog and with respectful children who have lived with large breed dogs. He’s so friendly with everyone he meets and at his assessment he couldn’t have been more amazing. He’s a big lad but walks well, although when he wants to sniff you know about it given his size and weight. Hes in good condition and loves his walks - he’s certainly young for his age! He’s ok to be left for reasonable periods of time. He isn’t a fan of car travel so isn’t going to want a home where he has much of this, unless you’re willing to work with him on this - it’s evident he has some travel sickness and he doesn’t enjoy the journey. He’s chipped but not yet neutered or vaccinated and these will be done as part of the adoption process as he is still with his current owner at present.

Poppy

Poppy is a beautiful cane corso cross boxer puppy (not even a year old yet) who was found as an unclaimed stray and was terrified of the world. We dread to think what she’s endured so far in her short life. She’s not a large dog at 29kg, but she does need someone who can manage her on the lead as she gets very excited and loves a good bounce around. She needs a home with children 10+ Can live with another dog Cannot live with cats

Shadow, a 3 years old female Crossbreed available for adoption from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Warwickshire

Shadow

Warwickshire
SexFemale
Age3 years
BreedCrossbreed

Hi my name is Shadow I’ve not had the best start to life, and I’m only three. My first mum and dad had a bigger dog that bullied me. I now think that some other dogs will do the same so I bark at them to scare them off! I’m only trying to protect myself, but I know that this is hard for some people to understand. I’m really intelligent, but no one has had the time to teach me the things I’d love to learn. I can sit and respond to strong basic commands. I love my walks and don’t pull when I have my halty on. I am muzzle trained, just to give other dog owners confidence as I pass by. I’m currently very loved at home, but my mum has recently had an accident and can no longer meet my needs. She’s really sad about this. I’d love to find my ideal owner. Someone with knowledge of how to train me and stimulate my mind. I will be a wonderful faithful and loving companion if I can find somone to understand what I need, love Shadow. Shadow is looking for a pet free home with no children. Sensible teenagers will be considered. He is neutered, vaccinated and chipped. Meets will be in South Yorkshire
