Labrador Retriever Rescue Southern England is a volunteer-run, breed-specific rescue charity dedicated to rehoming purebred Labrador Retrievers and Labrador crosses across Southern England. Operating independently and without a central rescue centre, the charity relies on foster homes, kennelling, and veterinary support funded entirely through donations and fundraising. In the past year alone, the team has taken in and successfully rehomed over 450 Labradors, despite increasing demand for rescue places. Supported by a network of foster carers and experienced trustees with decades of rescue knowledge, the charity focuses on careful assessment and responsible matching to ensure the best possible outcomes for both dogs and adopters.

Arthur is currently in a foster home and has bonded well with another large female dog but does not like the smaller dogs in this home. He is a big cuddly boy who loves humans and would really suit a home with a very large garden as he loves to mooch around when not snuggled up next to his human on the coach.

Timmy is a very happy, friendly boy that arrived recently from China and is now in one of our foster homes. He has settled in very quickly and is enjoying the human and dog company and of course the home comforts. The fosterers tell us that he is a truly lovely dog and good on the lead and very friendly with everyone he meets. Timmy is looking for a loving home that have plenty of time to share with him. Timmy needs to be a 2nd dog as he really enjoys the company of other dogs. Timmy was saved from the dog meat trade in China and we have been supporting him in a safe rescue in Beijing while he was waiting to travel over to the UK where we could find him a loving forever home.

Chip is a very loving dog with all humans and great with the older children he has been living with. He knows many commands and is good on the lead. Sadly he is not good with other dogs and always kept muzzled on his walks to make sure of his, and other dogs safety. In the home Chip is a perfect, loving, well behaved boy and loves human company. He is now looking for an experienced family home.

Phoebe is a young active girl but sadly her owners are of an age where thry are not able to give her the exercise, training and stimulation that she needs and deserves. She is excitable when she first meets you but calms down and is very sweet. Phoebe needs a young active home and with the right input will bloom.
