Colour: TanLocation: New Romney Alan is an incredibly nervous boy who needs an adult only home with someone who can help him work through his anxieties. When he feels safe, he can be incredibly affectionate and cuddly but will bite if he feels scared. Alan is very hit and miss with other dogs and can be reactive on lead and so would benefit greatly from being the only pet in the property, this also includes cats. He does struggle with separation anxiety therefore Alan is looking for somewhere where someone is around most of the time to help him feel more safe and secure. With patience, understanding and plenty of love he will make a wonderful companion.

She is terrified of the world, and it is clear that she has never known the love and security every dog deserves.Amber arrived with a fractured pelvis and a complete dislocation of her right hind leg We are still urgently searching for a quiet foster home where Amber can rest, recover, and heal following her operation which we are funding and is taking place 17th June. She needs a calm home with no children or cats, where she can feel safe and begin to build her confidence.Amber is still very scared and finding everything overwhelming, but she is a gentle girl who deserves the chance to recover in a loving environment. If you think you could offer Amber a foster home, please get in touch. Every share could help us find the perfect place for her to heal. Colour: Black and TanLocation: Edenbridge Apollo is a lovely boy who has come into us due to being stressed from the other dogs in the home. He is a loving and affectionate boy who enjoys cuddles. Apollo can be nervous so would like a calm and quiet home with owners who will give him the time and space he needs to settle. He would be better suited as the only pet in the home. Apollo has never been around children before and due to his nerves would be better suited to a home with older teenage children or an adult only home. Apollo has only been left for a maximum of 2 hours so needs a home where someone is around for most of the day. He enjoys playing with his toys whilst curled up in his bed. Apollo is overweight so will need to have active owners who can help him lose some weight and he must be on a diet. If you are interested in Apollo, please come down to our Edenbridge centre.

Romney Betty came into Last Chance through no fault of her own. Unfortunately Betty has age related issues with her back legs which can cause her difficulty at times. She needs a nice, quiet adult only home where she is the only pet in the property. She is unable to use stairs and will need a decent garden to run around in. Betty is obsessed with footballs and so it's a requirement (from Betty herself) that there must be plenty of footballs for her to tear apart.

Colour: Black & tanLocation: Edenbridge Bill is a grumpy chap at times who is set in his own ways. Despite only being 5 he acts like an old boy refusing to go on walks and wanting to sit all day in the sun.Bill absolutely loves his long red dog toy and occasionally you will walk past his kennel and see him just holding it in his mouth showing it off to the world.As cute and friendly as Bill looks, he is not a cuddly dog and couldn’t think of anything worse than being a lap dog. He would much rather get comfy and snug on the bed on the floor. He loves his own space and feels safe having an area that is just for him. Bill would love a home with someone who is happy to have him plod about in their garden and occasionally come for some attention. When Bill does want a fuss, his all time favourite is a butt scratch. He goes mad for this and loses his mind when he gets this. He will even try scratch his back on cars, bushes etc.Bill would need an adult only home ideally with 1 person or a couple who can respect his space with absolutely no children visiting.Bill is not a fan of any other animals he will avoid them when out but is not keen on having them approach him. Bingo is a very happy-go-lucky girl who is absolutely fantastic with people of all ages and is desperate to find her forever family, that will give her all the love she needs. Bingo must be the only pet in the property (no cats and no dogs) and has lived with kids as young as 5 before with no issues.

This happy, friendly boy is full of life and absolutely loves a good zoom around—but don’t be fooled, he’s just as happy being couch potato when it’s time to relax!He walks nicely on the lead and enjoys socialising with other large dogs, making him a great companion for the right match.If you think you could offer Bono the loving home he deserves then please come down and register your interest.

Colour: Merle and WhiteLocation: New Romney BooBoo has come to Last Chance from another kennels. She is a big sweet girl that loves a cuddle and a potter around taking in lots of sniffs. As we have no history on BooBoo she wouldn't be able to go to a home with children and we are unsure what she would be like around cats. BooBoo seems to be okay with other dogs. Buddy was originally here as a puppy. He went to a new home for a year where he was not walked regularly and barely taken out the house. Therefore Buddy did not get the socializing he needed and developed fear aggression to any new person who entered his and his owners house, seeing them as a threat. So Buddy needs a strict one to one home with someone who has no visitors. Once Buddy knows you he is very affectionate and will bark at you for attention to lie all over you or to try the food you are eating. Buddy loves his food and treats and as he is a very slow walker and sometimes refusing to walk at all he needs a strict diet to help him maintain a healthy weight. Buddy loves his toys and will often throw them around to himself in excitement. His favourite toy is a dog friendly stick, although we have tried to give him more exciting toys he always goes back to his stick. Buddy can not live with any other dogs, cats or small animals.

Colour: YellowLocation: New Romney Buddy Boy has come to Last Chance by no fault of his own. He is a very happy boy that loves everyone but unfortunately is reactive towards other dogs. Buddy Boy can be quite strong on lead and would benefit from some training and a strong owner who is willing to work with him through his issues. Buddy could possibly go to a home with older kids but must be the only pet in the property. If you think you could offer him a home please contact our New Romney Centre.

Buster is a typically stubborn bulldog. He loves nothing more his big comfy bed, getting under the covers and lots of treats. He can be reluctant to walk in an any adverse weather but likes a stroll at his own pace wherever he wants to go. Buster is a nosey dog and loves coming through our office to sniff new smells and helping to feed the office fish. He will often steal staffs leads and carry his bowl to his bed where Buster can become protective over this and any long-lasting treats. He loves a butt scratch and will roll in long grass for you to scratch his tummy and can be quite affectionate on his own terms. Buster is not short on character but will need an experienced owner. He must go to a male one to one home as Buster loves men. He does not like people coming in to his home so will need to be kept separate.
