Full of fuss and love, he is a big teddy bear who likes to paw you for extra love. He enjoys chasing his toys and generally enjoying life to the max! very food motivated, Biggie loves his interactive toys and is very smart!Being a large sized dog, Biggie is strong on lead and not comfortable around other dogs and cats. He will need a sturdy walker and enjoy walks where he can have a longer lead and away from traffic. He travels fantastically and is very clean overnight so holidays in the remote country are definitely on the cards! His prey drive is very high and he would be great at scent work or anything where he can use his brain and involves food!

He is so loving and sweet-natured, liking nothing more than a cuddle and meeting new people. He is very respectful of visitors and can’t wait to snuggle up to them on the sofa He enjoys his food, using his nose and getting lots of attention. Camel is an ideal companion for anyone who loves to be loved.Camel can be very strong on lead and doesn’t like other dogs or cats and therefore would prefer travelling to a secure field where he can exercise off lead. If a strong walker wishes to walk him, they must avoid other dogs, but to be perfectly honest Camel is a sniffer and explorer and really does just enjoy a large and secure garden to play in. Being an older gentleman Camel had settled well into his homely routine and would be happy left on his own for 4 hours.

He’s a happy, go lucky boy with the most stunning face and springs for legs; certainly a footballer in the making! There is also a very chilled side to Captain and once asleep on the sofa, he can be gone for hours! Food obsessed however so watch out for your sandwiches!Captain is seeking an owner who loves to learn and be on their toes whether it be training and having fun or making new memories out on walks. His prey drive is very high and he is currently being muzzle trained to protect the wildlife and make him feel more secure around other dogs. Captain is a known food thief which his owner must remember when leaving him unattended and need them to continue helping with his house training.

Being a food monster has really helped with building her confidence around people. Dahlia absolutely loves being loved and doted on. We’re not saying she’s a diva but she has some funny, quirky ways which make her very special.Dahlia sadly doesn’t have much trust in people out of her bubble. It doesn’t take long for her to become your best friend but it must be done in the way that she feels most comfortable. Being a Patterdale, she requires an experienced home, not just with her energetic breed, but also around her nervous nature. She is a very smart little girl who thrives from a one to one relationship and would become a very loyal companion. Dahlia walks lovely on the lead but would need to be kept on unless she is running around within a secure garden or hired out field.

It can take time for him to warm to your kindness but once your best friend, he springs along like a lamb, carrying his toys in his mouth. Falkor loves cuddle time on the sofa, playing with tennis balls and given the opportunity, helping himself to food if left within eye reach.Loving the outdoors, particularly when it’s nice and warm, Falkor would love a garden to sunbathe and zoom around in. His fencing must be 6ft + due to his very high prey drive and he must be walked wearing a muzzle. He is a fantastic walker but hiring out a secure field would be ideal for off lead exercise.

He gets very excited quickly because he loves meeting and greeting so much! A quirky sleeper, he is occasionally found hiding under his blankets and is a lover of just about any food!A lovely walker and interested in exploring, scent marking and playing in sand. Ludo loves life and is keen to try anything. He would be an amazing holiday companion but prefers more rural areas where he doesn’t have to meet other dogs. He is housetrained which is a huge bonus, but will need further introductions to the vet and an owner who accepts his vocal ways.

Nile can find new things overwhelming and prefer a calmer approach to life, taking things step by step. There is a cheeky side in there when he feels at ease and we hope this will emerge once home and settled. He loves his food, toys and sofa and cuddles from his kennel mum.Nile gets a lot of his confidence from being around other dogs and must have a doggy companion in his new home who he can snuggle up to. He is a very clever boy who loves to explore and use his nose with scent work being a favourite of his. Nile will be requiring garden only exercise initially due to his confidence and settling into a new home. This may take a lot longer for him, so they must be flexible with their leave time.The Centre will be offering to support Nile's new owners by covering health care and vaccinations under our Vet Support Scheme. **Please note that any vet consultations/treatment will be at our Centre in Huncote or at one of our designated vet practices in Leicestershire.

A lover of food, toys and a cosy bed, she’s not a fussy girl when it comes to feeling content. A typical terrier she has her head in the bushes and bum in the air!Like most JRT’s Patty uses her nose for sniffing, her paws for digging and legs for chasing. She is an active little lady with a busy mind and would be best kept on lead unless within a secure field or garden. A happy and sociable girl, she would love to be included on holidays and apart from the odd accident, she is house trained. A perfect little package, she brings so much happiness.

Peaches has the most scrumptious face and quirky character, ranging from rolling around with her legs in the air to giving those lost puppy eyes. You can’t help but fall in love with her and she is fantastic at giving cuddles!Peaches loves using her smart brain and is very clever for her age. She enjoys figuring things out but does become easily distracted so regular breaks for play time is required. She is starting to walk lovely on lead but being a large dog with lots of enthusiasm she will need a steady walker. About there with her house training and is enjoying short periods of being left alone, Peaches adores human companionship for cuddles.

A lover of cuddles, he is an amazing sofa companion and quite cheeky when it comes to food. A little chatter box when he wants attention, he makes us chuckle.Pirelli is an explorer and loves running around chasing his toys so hiring out a secure field would be perfect for off lead exercise as he can build up some speed. Due to his high prey drive Pirelli is muzzle trained and walks lovely on the lead. He will need his new owner to help with house training and settling into his new home as he can find new environments overwhelming.

A lover of toys and chicken as well as cuddles, he is a perfect companion! Very pup-like in his behaviour, he loves to entertain, keeping a new owner busy and making them smile.Young and loving life, Pumba does get excited easily when meeting new people and can jump quite high for a little fella! He is a strong walker and loves rural surroundings where he doesn’t have to interact with other dogs or traffic. Being a pup, Pumba’s leave time will need to be monitored and increased as he settles and feels comfortable being left and has mastered his house training.

Legs like springs and a busy mind, Splash is a doer, not always a thinker... His kind nature and zest for fun, has won us all over.Like any young Sighthound, Splash is into everything and still finding his ways. He loves running around in secure areas and walks really well on lead and is being muzzle trained. Slightly unsure around other dogs, gentle introductions have started here and we would recommend this to be continued in his new home. Easily aroused as he is still young, settle work would be a huge benefit whilst settling into his new home.
