While he can be a little thoughtful when meeting new people, he builds bonds nicely and is now very comfortable getting his harness on and heading out for adventures. In fact, he walks beautifully and takes the world in his stride, enjoying his outings with a relaxed and cheerful attitude.Aladdin would love a calm and understanding home that will continue to support him as he settles in. He will need a few visits prior to adoption to make sure he feels comfortable, particularly with his new family putting on his harness, but he no longer needs extensive bonding time. Once he knows you, he is a gentle, affectionate and loyal companion.He is happiest when he is playing with his toys, showing off his playful side, or relaxing in his bed with his legs crossed, watching the world go by. His sweet nature and signature grin brighten every room he walks into.Aladdin has been great with the female dogs here and enjoys their company. He can find very boisterous male dogs a little overwhelming at times, so calm introductions suit him best. He does have a tendency to chase cats, so he is looking for a home without cats or other small animals.Aladdin is also available for adoption with his best friend Peggy if you have space in your home for two wonderful companions.If you are looking for a cheerful, loving dog who is ready to enjoy life by your side, Aladdin could be your perfect match.

She’s got that perfect mix of cheeky charm and pure heart that makes her impossible not to love!On her walks, Anita struts proudly by your side, taking the world in her stride. She’s an absolute delight on the lead and loves any adventure you’re up for. What Anita loves even more, though, is people; she’s a true social butterfly who’ll happily say hello to everyone she meets, especially if there’s the promise of a cuddle (or a treat!) involved.When it comes to other dogs, Anita can find them a little intimidating at times, but she’s made amazing progress during her time with us. She’s now friends with some of our biggest dogs and has even taken on the role of “bodyguard” to our shy residents, patiently waiting for them on walks and making sure they feel safe. Because of this progress, Anita could potentially live with a larger dog if it’s the right match for her and introductions are done carefully.Anita does have epilepsy, which is well managed with a small tablet. We’ll be more than happy to chat with her future family about what to look out for and how best to support her, but rest assured, this doesn’t hold her back one bit. She’s as happy-go-lucky as ever and lives life to the fullest every day.Anita has truly stolen our hearts, and we can’t believe she hasn’t found her forever home yet. Meet Cleo – Our Elegant Egyptian Sweetheart! Cleo's journey started in Egypt, and she recently joined us from another rescue. Now she's ready to start the next chapter of her life with a loving forever family.Since arriving, Cleo has captured all of our hearts. She’s a gentle, affectionate soul who adores curling up on our laps in the office for a good cuddle. If you’re after a companion who thinks your lap is the comfiest place on earth, Cleo might just be your perfect match.Cleo can be a little shy with new people but it's very easy to gain her trust and then she's won't want you to leave! She is very keen to have an affectionate and kind family who want to give her lots of fuss! Out on walks, Cleo is a dream. She trots along with a graceful, pony-like elegance that always makes us smile. A great fun dog and a super companion :)The only thing we should add is that Cleo is not keen on the vets :( But we are working on it! She is ok with other dogs out on walks, but feel she will love being the only princess in a home so looking to place her as an only baby. Meet our bouncy, ball loving Dave!Dave came to us as a puppy and has grown so much during his time in rescue. With the right guidance and consistency, he has really come into his own and is now ready to find his home. Dave is so much fun, he's got great energy and will be a lovely companion.Dave loves his walks, especially if there are doggy friends to spot or a ball to chase. He is happiest when he is out and about exploring the great outdoors. He has been fantastic playing with other dogs in our secure field and absolutely thrives when he can zoom around and burn off some energy. Dave needs a family who will commit to a good amount of exercise, a solid routine and exposure to dogs on walks.Dave is an affectionate character but also sensitive and we would like a family who will let him come to them. He forms strong attachments to his people and does best in a calm, predictable environment. For this reason, Dave is looking for a quiet home with a maximum of two adults and no other pet, he will absolutly thrive then.Dave is also a total foodie which makes training fun. Dave is on a senstive diet, and he is also on medication for allergies. The charity would be prepared to offer some contribution towards the medications for the right home. Dave is a great boy, loved by absolutely everyone at the rescue, a dream to walk looking for an adventure of his own, away from kennels. He so deserves it! Meet Kenji Kenji has had a very challenging life, but he truly takes everything in his stride. He shows so much resilience every single day and hasn’t let his past dampen his shine in the slightest. He really is such a wonderful boy.Kenji is smiley, playful and super loving. He loves being around people and will happily soak up all the fuss and attention you’re willing to give. Watching him enjoy himself and just be a dog is so special, especially knowing how much he has overcome.Kenji is now looking for a warm, loving forever family who can help him understand what love really feels like. Peggy is a beautiful soul who originally came to the UK from Spain, and her journey has definitely been a memorable one. Shortly after arriving she managed to slip away and spent some time wandering around a local area, making plenty of dog and human friends along the way. She quickly made herself part of the neighbourhood, joining her new canine pals on their daily walks before heading off to sleep to recharge ready for the next group of friends to appear.Peggy is a true character with a gentle heart. Her biggest love in life is other dogs and she’s looking for a home with at least one confident canine friend that she can lean on as she learns the world in her own time. Having the right dog by her side makes her feel safe, supported and brave! She can be nervous with new people at first but once she’s settled in the right environment we know her sweet personality will shine through. Peggy is looking for a calm, adult only home with people who understand that slow and steady really is the best approach for her.Because of her history, Peggy is an escape risk so she’ll need an experienced and understanding home that can help her settle safely and take things at her pace. Aladdin arrived from Romania and Peggy from Spain and they both experienced very different lives before coming into our care. But at a scary and uncertain point in both of their journeys, they found exactly what they needed in each other.When Peggy arrived she was nervous and unsure of the world and still trying to work out who she could trust. One thing was clear though, she wanted a dog friend! Someone to follow and feel safe beside. At the same time, Aladdin had just watched his dog friends leave for their new homes and was starting to explore the world more on his own.From the first time we took them out together, it felt right. They moved through new situations side by side and lifted each other when confidence dipped. When one feels unsure, the other steps closer, and somehow things feel less frightening.Aladdin once found leads and harnesses terrifying and now happily bounces towards his and walks to the field with excitement. Peggy was very nervous of human touch when she arrived and now makes sure she is always included in the fuss, especially if Aladdin is getting attention Individually they are wonderful dogs, but together they are inseparable. It's breaking our hearts that this sweet girl hasn't found her forever family yet. Roo deserves all the love, adventures, and joy that life has to offer.Roo is super affectionate and would bring lots of love and happiness to her forever home but her future family will need to feel confident in working with reactivity and in continuing Roo's training as she does here with us. Roo is extremely food motivated and intelligent and so really enjoys her training with her humans. Roo can be strong on the lead and finds it challenging to feel safe and confident in busier areas and so we are looking for somewhere that Roo can thrive and work through these challenges one day at a time. While Roo may be a bit wary around new people initially, a few visits (and a pocket full of treats) are all it takes to earn her trust. So what is Roo looking for? - Adult-Only Home: Roo is best suited for an adult-only home without plans for future children.
