The Max & George Trust is a dog rescue charity founded in 2016, originally established to support dogs affected by leishmaniasis and now operating as a full rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming organisation. The charity rescues dogs from the UK and several European countries, including Spain, Romania, and Cyprus, focusing on animals in critical or life-threatening situations. Dogs are rehabilitated with the help of dedicated volunteers who work to rebuild trust, address medical needs, and prepare them for life in a home environment. Run entirely for the benefit of the dogs, The Max & George Trust reinvests all funds into rescue work, veterinary care, food, transport, and essential welfare support.
