Mikey’s Dog Rescue CIC is a foster-based rescue located in Dorset, primarily helping dogs from Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and surrounding counties. The charity focuses exclusively on UK-based dogs and does not import from overseas, believing there are sufficient dogs in need within the UK. Although relatively new, its founding members bring many years of experience in dog rescue and welfare. Without its own kennels, Mikey’s relies on a dedicated network of foster carers who provide loving temporary homes while each dog is carefully matched to a suitable forever family.

Bella is a 10 month old puppy, a small lab sized, shepherd cross-breed.Bella is crate trained, obedience trained and ball obsessed. She is both food and toy orientated, and responded super well to scent work - her nose is brilliant!Bella is dog and people sociable and can live with children over the age of 8.

Bianca is a very intelligent girl who loves the outdoors. She would suit an active mature couple or single person. Bianca cannot be rehomed with children due to her breed.

Carla is a 2 year old Lab Cross. She is housetrained and came to us as a welfare case.Carla is a really sweet girl, who is shy to start with, but soon bonds with her person and then her personality comes out. She is a funny and charming girl.She can live with another resident dog to show her the ropes.

Vinnie is a 13 year old Lhasa Apso. He is house-trained and neutered.Vinnie is a lovely chap, who enjoys a good walk. He can live with another calm dog, but would fair equally well as the only dog in the household.
