Northern Greyhound Rescue is a small registered charity based in the North West and Lancashire, dedicated to improving the lives of Greyhounds, Lurchers, and occasionally other sighthounds. Dogs come into the rescue from licensed racing tracks, as strays, or from homes where owners can no longer keep them through no fault of the dog. While awaiting their forever homes, dogs are cared for in foster homes or private boarding kennels, with both permanent and foster homes always needed. As an independent charity, Northern Greyhound Rescue relies on fundraising, donations, and the generosity of volunteers to cover all costs. Volunteers play a vital role in fostering, fundraising, transport, and supporting the day-to-day work of the rescue.

Bono is a three year old male Greyhound who is in a foster home . Bono is a shy boy and needs another hound or hounds to live with. He is constantly overlooked and has been waiting for his forever home since September 2024, please consider the little chap if you have a quieter home , he is the sweetest little chap. Paddy, Glenbeech Roch is a seven year old male Greyhound who is looking for his forever home.Paddy has been in foster care with a female labrador, is housetrained and can be left for short periods. he would be happy homed as an only dog or with another dog for company. He is not cat friendly.Paddy loves his walks and playing with toys and just wants the chance of a loving , forever home. Seven year old Broken Coated Deerhound Lurcher Kobe is looking for his forever home. Kobe found himself unwanted in the stray kennels and has come to us to look for his forever home. Kobe is currently in a foster home with a male and female Greyhound but we feel he would be quite happy as an only dog with someone who would be with him a lot and show him lots of love. He is a very affectionate boy who loves nothing more than snuggling up to his humans.He has been going to work with his fosterer some days and has behaved impeccably just settling down to sleep whilst his fosterer works in the office.
