* House trained & Crate Trained* Has been for sleepovers at our animal teams homes, the perfect house guest!Hamish is looking for a home with active adopters who can take him on lots of exploring, sniffy adventures in quiet walking areas, such as private hire fields, who can provide him with extra activities such as scent work or agility to keep his clever brain busy and give him all the care and attention he deserves. He can live with children aged 15 and over who understand that he is a large clumsy boy, who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when needed.Hamish likes his attention undivided so is looking to be the only pet in the home; however, once settled in the home, there is a potential for him to have doggy walking friend who can cope with his active personality. He is a very clever boy, he knows ‘sit’, ‘paw’ and ‘wait'. He is so eager to please and takes training on board very quickly - so far he has learnt heel, eye contact, distractions and is busy doing scent work, which he is so good at. Apart from his intelligence and training abilities, Hamish loves nothing more than a good snuggle on the couch - he loves people and has so much love to offer.Once settled into the home, Hamish can get a little worried being left alone, he could be left for up to 1-2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his. She is well trained, knows sit, down, stay and great recall in secure paddocks. Maggie travels well in a crate or in the back of the car, she is excellent for her health checks with our vets on site and enjoys company of our staff and volunteers.
