Having grown up beside each other they share an incredible bond and bring out the best in each other.They are friendly, affectionate and full of personality. As they are still young they are full of energy and love nothing more than running about and playing. - Shy but sweet personalityLilly is a seven year old crossbreed who came to us as her owner sadly passed away and she has been struggling with life ever since. Lilly is very unsure of new surroundings but has been slowly starting to build trust with our rehoming team. She is in need of a calm quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace without to much disruption. Lily is enjoying going on walks and prefers quieter routes, she can also have dog walking friends but would prefer to be the only dog.We feel she would be best suited to a home with no children or visiting children due to her nervous nature. Young Children Friendly Older Children Friendly Basic Training Can Live with Another Dog- Can live with children 5 years plus- Can live with a sociable dog- House and crate trainedMeet gorgeous Lulu, also known as Dude, because she is wonderful!She is an 8 year old Golden Retriever cross Standard poodle who is looking for a new home due to a change in her owners circumstances. Lulu has very much been part of the family, and is clearly adored, you can tell she has been living a wonderful life with them and she of course, will need an adopter who will continue to take her on adventures, and allow her to be part of the family.Lulu loves swimming so if you enjoy the Lakes, she might be a great match. She is good on and off lead, new owners would need to keep her onlead until she has built a bond with you but she regularly goes off lead on her walks. She travels well in the car and is very sociable with other dogs, has been used to family dogs spending time with her and we feel she would love a home with another dog to enjoy her days with, an existing dog must be neutered.Lovely Lulu has been brought up around grand children who she has always been wonderful with, and so we would be happy for her to go to a home with young children providing they are respectful of allowing her to settle in and adapt to a new home. Older Children Friendly Basic Training- Can live with children over 12 years old- Can be left up to 4 hours once settledGorgeous 9 year old Maggie is ready to go to a new home. She is well trained, knows sit, down, stay and great recall in secure paddocks. Maggie travels well in a crate or in the back of the car, she is excellent for her health checks with our vets on site and enjoys company of our staff and volunteers. Maggie is a very food orientated and will do anything for her next treat. This makes training very fun and desirable for her, someone who enjoys training would adore this intelligent girl.She would love a home with a secure garden for off lead play and practising her wonderful recall but equally would be fine with a yard or small garden providing her new owner is a keen walker able to give her enough exercise. She is looking to be rehomed as the only pet.Maggie is foody, playful and has a very sweet personality. High Energy Basic Training- Needs an experienced owner- Very sweet once he knows you- Travels well and can be left up to 4 hours once in a new routineMarvellous Mouse is a wonderful 8 month old Malinois cross who is ready to meet an adopter. He will need someone experienced to continue his training and socialisation. Mouse is very foody which is really beneficial during this time, enabling him to become a wonderful dog. Mouse can be fearful when he first meets new people, due to this we feel he will need multiple meets on site to build a bond with an adopter.Mouse is very playful with being so young, and would hugely benefit from a secure private garden. We feel Mouse would excel in a home with a sociable female dog of similar size, she would need to be happy with a big energetic boy! Toffee had a scare last year when she was frightened by fireworks and got loose, since then she has become anxious when she decides she wants to get home from walks. She will need someone understanding who can help rebuild her confidence. Toffee could live with another dog of similar size, she currently lives with small dogs but they find her to much as she is very playful so an existing dog would need to be comfortable with this and having several meets on site to ensure they get along well.Toffee can live with sensible children 12 years plus. She is wonderful in the home but does get worried by new visitors which her adopters will need to continue to work on with advice from our training team. Basic Training Quiet HomeMeet Yogi a 3-year old Chow cross who is ready to find a calm, understanding forever home. Yogi would be best suited to an adult home and would prefer to be the only pet in the home, though he could enjoy socialising with dog walking friends out and about.Yogi has a huge personality and is great to handle when it comes to bathing and grooming. He is the perfect kennel guest and is good in every way for the staff on site but has shown some guarding issues in a home environment when he had a high value treat. Due to this, Yogi needs a home that will manage this well, by having a separate area, like a conservatory, spare room or utility room where he can have his treats away from people walking through. He will need an understanding owner who will allow him space and understand that items cannot be taken from him as he feels threatened when someone approached when he has food. At the moment Yogi is still ongoing with his lead training and travels well in the crate in the van.Yogi has not shown much interest with toys whilst in kennels, but he adores going in the paddock off lead for zoomies and does get very excited. Due to his size he will need someone experienced with large breeds and that is able to manage his guarding. Yogi is a truely wonderful boy who we believe will make someone a wonderful pet.
