Our Safe Haven Kennels is a UK-based rescue facility opened in 2021 in Nantwich, Cheshire, created to provide a calm and supportive environment for dogs in need. The kennels were established to help dogs who struggled in busy shelter settings, particularly those rescued from overseas, as well as to offer a secure backup space for UK dogs returning to the rescue. Designed with welfare in mind, the centre allows potential adopters to meet dogs by appointment and get to know them properly before adoption. Since opening, Our Safe Haven Kennels has seen rapid growth, rehoming more than 200 dogs in 2023 alone, and continues to expand its role as a vital stepping stone between rescue and a permanent, loving home.

On walks, Annette wears a collar, lead & harness, she likes her walks but is very nervous around sudden or loud sounds. Annette is toilet trained, she sleeps well overnight in her safe space & can be left without any issue. Archie loves treats, especially meaty ones. Archie has been walking on his dog reactivity at the kennels and is looking for a home to continue working on this with him. He loves cuddles and bum scratches. Just look at that cute little face, how could you resist? Archie knows sit and is currently trying to master paw!He has been waiting so long for his forever home - could you be that special home that he so very much deserves?

Archie is toilet trained and walks well on the lead. He isn't destructive and is okay being left for up to 6 hours and overnight. He's a boy that loves cuddles with people he knows but can become overwhelmed with new people so quiet introductions would be ideal. He'd like to have a space away from visitors.Archie enjoys spending time with the other dog in the home and would enjoy sharing a home with another calm dog. When on walks he can be fussy with other dogs.

Meet Bailey, he has been waiting a while for his forever home He likes people and will jump to say hello when he first meets you. He likes to fetch a toy and bring it to you as an invitation to play.Bailey is currently reactive towards cats and dogs for this reason he would suit a home where he is the only pet to allow further training to be carried out on his reactivity. He has met other dogs but must be supervised when he does.Bailey can wear a collar. He always wears a harness on his walks. He enjoys the freedom of an extendable lead but can pull when on it. He can be nervous on walks and will lunge at passing traffic. Bala is toilet trained, crate trained, travels well, isn't destructive and is getting used to being left for a few hours during the day. Bala is really well behaved on walks and doesn't pull. She takes everything in her stride and her gentle nature shines through. She's also got the smoothest fur, you'll never want to stop stroking her which she'll love.Bala enjoys time playing with toys, mooching around and going for walks. She is a big fan of her food and get get a bit over enthusiastic to get to it. Bala can live with children 5+ with sensible introductions Bala wears a harness, coat and collar with no problems and walks well.

️ Beautiful Bella is looking for a home as special as she is. She unfortunately came to us in terrible condition as part of a welfare case in the UK this has left her in need of an understanding home. But she's so loving she's definitely worth the extra effort. Bellas favourite hobbies, treat mats/feeders, car rides and spying out the window Bella is toilet trained, good overnight, she hasn't been destructive, she can be left for short periods of time but would prefer someone around most of the time. She does enjoy walks but can pull she is dog reactive and scared of people so a quieter walking route would be ideal. dog selective could potentially live with dogs after a successful meet. has worn and accepted a lead, can be reactive.

Blue is the perfect little package, with his short little adorable stumpy legs. He is house trained, and crate trained and can be left alone for a few hours with no issues. He currently lives with other dogs and gets on with them all but he would be equally happy in a home where he has your full attention.Blue is pretty much your straight out of the box ready made new family member. He walks beautifully on the lead and can’t wait to be your forever furry friend, he just needs his special someone to smile at every day! Blue has worn and accepts a lead, and walks beautifully on it

️ Brownie has recently arrived in our Essex kennels from Romania. She is still settling in but already her personality is starting to shine.Brownie adores people, has a gentle loving nature and just wants to spend time with her favourite people. She will greet you like she’s known you forever, and will be excited to see you even if you just nipped to the shops!Brownie will need to learn how to live in a home but with her love of treats, and her eagerness to please, training her will be a breeze.Brownie loves all living creatures and as such can live with other dogs, cats and sensible children. She walks calmly on a lead, and wags her tail at everyone she meets. ️

Bryony can be anxious in new environments but is slowly learning to be more confident and less fearful in these. She walks well on lead and although unsure at first, Bryony settles and seems to enjoy her walks the more she goes out. Bryony is happy to spend time alone although she does enjoy having another dog or person with her. Bryony is toilet trained and crate trained, and can be left alone for 4 hours with no issues, especially if she has a kong or snuffle toy with her. Bryony has never been destructive. Bryony sleeps well over night with no issues. She settles down quickly and doesn’t wake up until the morning. Bryony also loves her food and is very food motivated. She is a very friendly girl who enjoys a good fuss once she fully trusts the people around her. Bryony also loves playing once she fully settles in and will enjoy being around her family and chilling indoors. ️ Coco was found as a tiny puppy, dumped amongst rubbish in Romania. While she should have been discovering love and safety, she was learning how to survive. Thankfully, she was rescued — but since then, she has spent most of her young life growing up in kennels.Coco is one of those 1 in a million dogs. She may be a bit nervous at times herself but her loving nature always brings her out. She's not only good at doing this for herself but other shy dogs she gently encourages them to play and then encourages them to play with her human friends too.Coco is gentle, affectionate, and forms the sweetest bonds once she has had a little time to settle. She has a soft, kind nature and beautiful soulful eyes.
