About Rescue Me Dogs

Rescue Me Dogs was founded by Angela and Tony in 2012 after rescuing a severely neglected German Shepherd in Southern Italy, an experience that inspired their lifelong mission. The charity is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs from shelters, neglect, and abusive situations, giving them a safe space to heal before finding carefully matched forever homes. Run entirely by volunteers, Rescue Me Dogs works closely with shelters and communities to promote adoption and responsible ownership. Relying wholly on public generosity, the organisation continues to give vulnerable dogs the second chance they deserve.

Meet Cheerio – Our beautiful, bouncy 10 month old pup who is in Mid Suffolk! Cheerio is a gorgeous 10-month-old crossbreed, weighing around 25kg, who is looking for a loving new home through no fault of his own. He was adopted from Rescue Me Dogs UK earlier this year, but due to a serious long term illness that requires hospitalisation in his adoptive family, they are sadly no longer able to give him the care and attention he deserves. They love him dearly, and this has been an incredibly hard decision for them. About Cheerio:Cheerio is everything you’d expect from a young pup, fun, loving, playful, and full of energy! He adores people and has a naturally affectionate nature that wins hearts quickly. Great with other dogs Previously lived happily with three young children House trained Has basic training Walks nicely on the lead – Excitable (in the cutest way!) when he sees other dogs which is totally normal for his age Vaccinated, blood tested, EU passport and microchipped Cheerio is a truly beautiful boy with tons of love to give. He would thrive in an active home with people who can offer him time, guidance, play, and plenty of cuddles. With continued training and consistency, he’s going to grow into an absolutely amazing companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, bright, affectionate young dog to add joy and energy to your life, Cheerio might just be your perfect match! Home check, full rescue back up and adoption fee apply.
