About Romanian Rescue Appeal

Government failures have left Romania with a huge stray dog population, many of whom face cruelty on the streets and in public shelters. Romanian Rescue Appeal works hard to change this by supporting every stage of a dog’s journey from danger in Romania to a safe, loving home in the UK. We rescue dogs from the streets and public shelters and where death is inevitable and raise funds for food, shelter, and veterinary care. We promote each dog to find a forever home and each application is thoroughly assessed to ensure the right match. We support all adopters before and after adoption and there is always Rescue Back-Up Our entire UK team is voluntary, and every penny donated goes directly to the dogs.

Albie

HANDSOME ALBIE is from Romania and has been in foster now for a few months, He is doing so well he is ready to move on to a furever home. He is in foster in Hampshire and living with a mix of male and female dogs. He is a cheeky boy, still learning, but bright and fun loving. He would be best rehomed with a friendly female or as an only dog. Albie is 15 months old, medium size, neutered and getting accustomed to life in a home, but he is doing really well. He is an intelligent boy and quick to learn with gentle training techniques. He is good and loving with people and would bond well and become a loyal companion. Ok with men, but has not been tested with children, so we would suggest older 12+. He is playful and loves to play with toys. Sorry but best not with cats.
