Alex is a very sweet boy who is really friendly and loves a cuddle, so is looking for a new home with an owner who has lots of time to give him the love and attention he enjoys.We are still assessing him at the moment, but he is showing good interactions with other dogs so we would love to find him a new home with another small dog already in the home, but we are not sure how he would react towards a cat, so would be best suited to a cat-free home.Alex is loving and affectionate and, once settled into his new home, we are sure that he will become a treasured member of your family. Meet Bingo!This handsome young chap has come into our care due to a change in his family’s circumstances. He has clearly been much loved and has had a wonderful start in life, and now we’re looking for a new family to help him continue his journey.Bingo is a fun-loving, bouncy puppy with endless enthusiasm for life. He has so much love to give and is guaranteed to bring plenty of laughter and adventure to his forever home. Like many young dogs, he’s still learning his manners and would benefit from continued training, particularly when it comes to walking nicely on the lead and building his confidence and social skills around other dogs. He simply gets very excited about everything!We feel Bingo would be happiest as the only dog in the home and is looking for a cat-free household. Having previously lived with children, we would consider a home with children aged 10 and over, subject to successful introductions at the centre.As Bingo has only been with us for a few days, he’s finding kennel life a little overwhelming, and we’re still getting to know him. Meet Cleo!Cleo came into our care as a stray, so unfortunately we don’t know anything about her past.She is an incredibly affectionate, intelligent girl who would thrive in an active home. Cleo would love long walks and would likely excel at activities such as agility, where she can use both her body and brain.Cleo enjoys the company of other dogs, although she can become a little overexcited when meeting them. We think she could happily live with another calm dog of a similar size, but she would be just as content being the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the attention.We believe Cleo would be likely to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best. Because of her enthusiastic and bouncy nature, we feel she would be best suited to a home with children aged 12 and over.Kennel life has been quite stressful for Cleo. At times she spins in her kennel, which suggests she may have spent a long period confined in a small space before coming into our care. Gloria is a beautiful four-year-old Cane Corso cross Spanish Mastiff with a gentle soul who is looking for a patient and experienced home where she can finally feel safe and secure. Having arrived in our care from a pound, she is now hoping to find a family who will give her the time, understanding and love she deserves.Kennel life has been a little overwhelming for Gloria, and she’s a little sad being in the kennel. Once she’s out with our staff, however, she begins to relax and her lovely personality starts to shine through. She enjoys spending time with people she knows, playing and simply being by their side.Gloria can be nervous when meeting new people, particularly men, but she is already making great progress. Given a little time and patience, she’ll happily accept treats and begins to realise that new people aren’t so scary after all. Her new owners will need to be prepared to let her build trust at her own pace and celebrate the small steps along the way.We don’t think Gloria has experienced much of the world before coming into our care, so many everyday sights and sounds are still quite new to her. She is looking for calm, breed-experienced owners who are committed to continuing her confidence-building through kind, positive training and who will help her discover that life can be full of wonderful adventures.Gloria is currently showing positive interactions with other dogs and is still under assessment, so we are unable to confirm at this stage whether she could live with another dog. Due to her size, she is looking for a cat-free home. Gromit is a handsome German Shepherd cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a breed-experienced home with patient owners who understand the needs of intelligent working breeds. While he may be nervous at first, behind those timid eyes is a lovely young dog with so much potential.The world is still a big and sometimes scary place for Gromit. He’ll need an owner who is happy to take things at his pace, helping him build confidence through positive training, routine and reassurance. Watching him overcome new challenges is incredibly rewarding, and with the right guidance we’re sure he’ll continue to flourish.German Shepherd or similar experience is essential for Gromit. He is a clever dog who will benefit from ongoing training and plenty of mental stimulation to help him become the confident companion we know he can be. He’s looking for someone who enjoys working with their dog and is committed to continuing his education.Gromit gets on well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but he will need continued socialisation as he develops. Joker, as you can see, is a very handsome intelligent young boy who is looking for a new home with an owner who is used to this breed and has the time and experience to spend giving him the mental and physical stimulation he needs.He is friendly and loves to be around people, so we are sure that he will become a loyal and incredibly loving member of your family once settled. He was brought into us after his previous owners became unable to keep him, and we feel he’d be suited to live with children over 14 years of age.We are continuing to work on Joker’s dog socialisation, and he’s even made some canine friends around the centre. We do feel he’d be happiest as the only pet in the home, with owners that are committed to continuing his training.Joker would love active new owners, who can commit to settling in to his new home, and building up the time he is left on his own for.Joker does also only have 1 eye! Mojito is a really sweet girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy everything life has to offer.She can be a little shy when meeting new people and in unfamiliar situations, so she will need plenty of time, space and reassurance to help her settle into her new home. Once she begins to trust you, her lovely personality starts to shine through, and with the right support she is becoming more confident every day.Mojito will need to live with a calm, confident dog already in the home. This is essential for her, as she takes great comfort from other dogs and will look to them for reassurance. A canine companion will help her navigate new experiences and encourage her to become more confident in her surroundings.She will need owners who are committed to helping her with her ongoing training, including house training, lead walking and socialisation. Positive, reward-based training and plenty of patience will help her develop into a happy, well-rounded dog.Due to her gentle nature, Mojito would be best suited to a quieter home where she won’t feel overwhelmed. Meet Penne!This special girl has had a difficult few weeks, but after receiving some much-needed medical care and undergoing a rather dramatic (but absolutely necessary!) haircut, she’s ready to find her forever home.Penne is a gentle giant with a huge heart and so much love to give. Since arriving with us, she has shown herself to be neutral around small to medium-sized dogs, while larger dogs can make her feel a little uneasy, so she tends to give them a wide berth. Because she absolutely adores human attention and enjoys being the centre of someone’s world, we feel she’d be happiest as the only dog in the home. She is not suitable to live with cats.Due to severe matting, Penne had to be clipped right back, but her beautiful coat will grow back in no time. In the meantime, we think she looks absolutely adorable!Penne is a lovely, affectionate girl who enjoys comfort, company, and plenty of fuss. If you have a spacious sofa and room in your heart for this wonderful girl, we’d love to hear from you. Be warned though – once you meet Penne, you’ll find it very hard not to fall in love.

Primrose is a beautifully gentle soul who has had a very sheltered and difficult start to life after being used for breeding. She is now looking for a calm, understanding home where she can begin to feel safe and experience the kindness she has never known before.Primrose is an extremely nervous little girl and finds the world around her quite overwhelming. New people, environments, and experiences can be very scary for her, so she will need a patient owner who is happy to go at her pace and allow her the time she needs to build trust.She takes a lot of comfort from other dogs and will rely on them for reassurance, so she will need a confident and friendly canine companion already in the home to help guide her and show her that the world isn’t such a frightening place. With the right support, this will be key in helping her grow in confidence. It is essential that Primrose is rehomed with another dog in the homePrimrose has never lived in a home before coming here, so she will need help learning all the basics, including house training and walking on a lead. Small steps and gentle encouragement will go a long way with this sensitive girl.Due to her nervous nature, Primrose would be best suited to a quiet home without children, to help prevent her feeling overwhelmed and allowing her to settle in her own time.She will need an experienced owner, someone familiar with puppy farm dogs or very nervous dogs, who understands that progress may be slow but incredibly rewarding. Stormzy is a very handsome intelligent, affectionate dog who is looking for a new home with an experienced owner who is used to larger excitable breeds. He is a fun-loving, loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger bounce!He lives for his toys, loves affection, and will keep you entertained with his goofy antics and clever ways. He’s one of those dogs who seems to always be smiling – and his joy is infectious. He walks well on the lead, and would make a great companion for nice strolls around the countryside!Stormzy is looking for an owner who is used to larger breeds and with someone who has experience of training. He has missed out on some early-life experiences, so he can be a little unsure around new situations, so will need someone who is patient and to help him build trust.We really do believe that Stormzy will become the most loyal companion who adores his new family. He is an affectionate dog who’ll never let you feel lonely – he just wants is to play and have a fuss made of him!We’re still assessing him with other dogs, but so far interactions have been boisterous but positive, so we believe that he could share his new home with another dog who will accommodate his lively nature. We’re unsure of how Stormzy would feel about cats so ideally he’d go to a cat-free home.Stormzy is super sweet and he’s already showing his trainability as he’s slowly mastering ‘Sit’ and ‘Lay-Down’. Meet Teddy!Handsome Teddy came into our care through no fault of his own and is now looking for a loving, breed-experienced home. Although kennel life isn’t his favourite, he has settled in well and continues to show what a lovely lad he is.Teddy is sociable with other dogs and walks beautifully on the lead, remaining calm and well-mannered when passing dogs out and about. However, he cannot live with cats or small furry animals.We’re looking for a home where someone is around for much of the day to continue his training, socialisation, and help him settle into family life. Teddy is a large, strong boy, so we feel he would be best suited to an adult-only home, although sensible teenagers aged 16 and over may be considered depending on the individual household.If you’re looking for a loyal companion and have experience with the breed, Teddy could be the perfect match for you.
