He is generally good with other dogs and is happy to walk alongside them, though he can be uncomfortable if they get into his personal space. For this reason, calm dog interactions and respectful boundaries suit him best. Billy would need a quiet, understanding home with older (if any) children and adopters who are willing to give him time to settle at his own pace. Bobby is a 4-year-old large English Bulldog cross with a heart just as big as his paws! Despite his impressive size, Bobby truly believes he’s a lapdog and loves nothing more than cuddles and attention from his humans.He’s a gentle giant who trots beautifully by your side on walks and has proven himself to be well-mannered and sociable. Bobby has met plenty of dogs here at the centre—both male and female, big and small—and gets along wonderfully with them all.While Bobby is a very good boy with lovely manners, he is still a strong lad and will need a confident, capable owner who can continue his training and help him build on his already fantastic temperament.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your home with affection (and maybe take up a little more space on the sofa than he realises!), Bobby could be the perfect match for you

Buddy has now been in a foster home for a few months. His foster parents report “Buddy is an affectionate loving Lurcher and puts people at ease with his playful nature. Whether he’s lounging in a sunny spot or trotting alongside his favourite humans on a walk, he brings warmth and joy wherever he goes. Loving cuddles, soft blankets and playing with his toys in the garden, he’ll become part of the family very quickly.”When Buddy first came in to us, he was very nervous and distrusting of humans. Over time, Buddy has become a very friendly and playful boy. He very much enjoys his one-to-one time and is learning how to show affection in his own special way!He loves nothing more than a speedy sprint around our field and will happily play fetch with a football or tennis ball until he is tired out. Treats are also a favourite of his.Buddy is good and attentive when out on a walk and walks nicely on a lead. Owing to his lack of socialisation when younger, he can be a bit vocal when he sees other dogs out on a walk, but with further input and more socialisation this can be addressed.As a Lurcher, Buddy has a very strong prey drive and is interested by small wildlife when out walking and small pets in the house. Colby is a sweet 9 & half year old staffie cross who is a senior boy now but he still has bounds of enthusiasm when it comes to playing fetch with his ball.Colby came from the pound so we have little information on him, it was clear he was badly neglected due to his skin & coat being in poor condition when he arrived at the rescue.Due to his past he has not been socialised properly so therefore can be reactive when out on walks, he will need on going training with his socialistion & someone who is confident handling him.He would need to be the only pet in the house.

Elsie is the braver of the two and the confidence for them both, she enjoys to sleep under a blanket.Doug is the calmer of the two and a sensitive soul. He likes to be close to you and his sister.They love to run and play together in the garden chasing each other and enjoy their walks.Be ready for them to steal your heart and your lap.
