French Bulldog, 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and he was a proper little shit so needs an owner used to this type of dog.New Update:BENTLEY seems to like being the resident dog which is such a shame as we would dearly love to see him in his forever home after 12 months of being with us.Anyone who follows our kennels or volunteers for us will know what a twat this dog has been and just how far he come along from day 1 to now - he has been hard work and very testing at times.He has been to 2 "experienced" homes but never lasted more than 24 hours so we would much rather keep him with us all the time he is happy rather than have him messed around.Bentley is now bonding with pretty much all of the volunteers and he only sees the person in the video once a week so this is just how much progress Bentley has made.For a new person in a home it will be baby steps and patience but the end result will be what you see in the video.MUST be the only pet in the home and no young children.Write up UPDATED:This boy has come along so much from the badly behaved dog that arrived with us back in September 2025. Don't get me wrong he can still be a little shit but he seems to be our little shit now and has accepted the staff and most of the volunteers as his people.Bentley is seeking a very experienced handler who will not take any of his nonsense. He has failed in several homes mainly because the advice given wasn't followed. 12 hours in a new home is not what this boy needs, it will take weeks for him to adjust and bond with his new person but once he does he has so much genuine love and affection to give - we see it here daily from him.He goes out on a daily basis with all the different dog walkers - that was an impossible job at the beginning. He now wants fuss and affection and lets you in to his "space". Don't get me wrong he does still have the odd day where he reverts back to demon dog but then he remembers that being good = rewards and good things.Bentley is definitely not for a novice dog owner but if you have had previous experience with dogs that like to get their own way and occasional temper tantrums and are up for a challenge then Bentley may be the dog for you.Personally I would say he would be better off as the only pet in the home as you don't want his bad habits rubbing off and also he could not be homed with another male dog as he is a bit hit and miss with them - seems to prefer the pretty girls He will need a home where he is going to get the love and attention he needs (in time) as well as the right amount of exercise, training and stimulation.He has obviously previously been shut away for hours in a small space which has caused his guarding of his space so maybe not go to a home where he will be left for long periods of time and no crates.Definitely no children under 16 years old, older or none preferred.Cats and other small furries are unknown and untested.A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.When Bentley first came in to us:-Bentley has guarding issues with his "space" be it a crate, a kennel, his room basically anywhere that he is shut in or where he feels enclosed. Approaching that space he behaves like a rabid beast on crack but open the door, let him out and you are able to carry on the day as if nothing has happened so for a dog that has found himself stuck in the kennel system it is very hard.There is a very nice dog inside the little monster that we see most mornings. He goes out quite happily with the dog walkers without issue. He loves his toys especially stuffed ones that he can rip apart, the quicker the better. He loves his food and treats and takes them nicely.If you feel you are up for a challenge then this is the ideal dog for you. He will need a home where he is going to get the love and attention he needs as well as the right amount of exercise and stimulation. He has obviously previously been shut away for hours in a small space which has caused this hatred so maybe not go to a home where he will be left for long periods of time.

WH Dachshund X - 2 years old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.He is going to need a very calm and loving home to bring him out of his shell as he is a nervous little soul. Don't think he has had much access to the outside world but is a very sweet and gentle boy who has shown no aggression. Once he has bonded with you he is quite affectionate.He may bond with a quieter bomb proof spayed female dog but does not appear to appreciate other male dogs coming up to him.School aged children preferred.We would ideally like to find a home for Frankie where he is not going to be left for more than a couple of hours by himself and he needs time and patience to settle in.He may need a bit of a house training refresher but this won't take long.As always a secure with adequate height fencing is required.Cats and other small furries are unknown and untested.PLEASE ENSURE YOU TYPE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS CORRECTLY OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REPLY.

Spaniel x Beagle, spayed, microchipped and 7 years old. Vaccinations have expired. She has been flea'd and wormed and will go to her new home with 4 weeks free Petplan insurance.She is a medium sized dog - big built and extremely friendly.Lottie knows and understands basic commands.She is fully house trained.Lottie does initially pull on the lead in excitement to go out but soon calms down and walks nicely. Good recall. No issues with travelling.If treats are involved, happy to have a bath - she does love her food.Will chase anything that has wings or buzzes.Loves to catch bubbles but not a fan of a hose or doggy pool.She can be quite boisterous and does like to greet people by jumping up at them - no malice.Prefers to sleep on the sofa rather than her own bed.No cats.Lottie can live with children from 5+ and she does not snatch food from them.A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.We would love to see Lottie go to a home where she is not going to be left for more than a few hours per day.

4 year old German Shepherd who has now been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is up to date with his flea and worming treatments and will go to his new home with 4 weeks free Petplan insurance and some goodies.Mars has been an absolutely model resident whilst he has been here. She is 4 years old this October and is spayed and microchipped. Her parents were Spaniel and Old Thyme Bulldog. Narla is medium size and build.May be slightly nervous with strangers but does soon warm to them especially if they are offering really nice savoury treats.Once you are her person she is a very affectionate dog. She loves cuddles and thinks she is a lap dog. When giving belly rubs she likes to wrap her front paws around your arm so you carry on.Very playful , loves tug of war but you have to play the two toy game with her as what is hers is hers and she doesn't like to give it up without reward.Loves to snuggle under her blanket.Narla does not like loud unusual noises, fireworks, drills, lawn mowers or banging noises. Staffie x Rottweiler - 23 months old, neutered and microchippedTheodore knows and understands some commands and if you are his person he will pretty much do anything for you. He does have a loving and affectionate side but you do need to be his person for this to shine as he can be wary of strangers.In the right home and with training and understanding he is going to make an excellent addition to the household.Theodore is going to need an experienced handler who is willing to give him the time and patience he needs.He travels well and will walk nicely on the lead.No young children.Cats and other small furries are unknown and untested.A secure garden with minimum of 6ft fencing is a must.We would like to see Theodore go to a home where he is not going to be left for more than a few hours per day.Several visits to the kennels may or may not be required for Theodore to get to know you.
