Belle (right on pic) is a 10 year old Jack Russel Terrier who was handed over to us with her brother Buttons after their behaviour changed with a new baby in the house. They have been friendly with staff here since they arrived but cannot be in a home with children and would be best as the only dogs in the house. They have lived together their whole lives so we would like if they could be rehomed together. They are house trained, crate trained and have some basic training. They walk nicely on the lead.

Beautiful Bonnie is a 6 year old Alapaha who came in to us due to a change in the owners circumstances. She likes getting attention and cuddles from people and gets on with other calm, friendly dogs. She could be homed with children and cats. She has some basic training but could do with some lead work as she pulls quite a bit.

Boswell is a 9 year old Husky cross who has been handed over to us in a bad way. After a lot of brushing and a bath, he’s now ready to find his forever home.Boswell is halti trained and walks well with other dogs. Due to his size he would be suited to an adult only or older children household. He needs training around cats.Boswell is a very polite gentleman who walks well on the lead. knows basic training and is house trained.He has shown some guarding tendencies, so needs an owner with guard breed experience.

Meet Connie a 2 yr old American Bulldog cross. Experienced home required.Connie is a lovely 2yr old American bull cross who has been at Wolfwood for 4 months settling in and being rehabilitated and is now ready to be rehomed.Connie is very nervous of strangers so needs someone with dog handling knowledge but once she befriends you she is very sweet and willing to please.She currently lives outside so would need additional training to live in a house again.She walks well on the lead and gets on with other dogs. Fred is a 3 year old Malski x Labrador. Sadly his owner died and he doesn’t get on with the other family dogs. He is still quite nervous meeting new people but is getting more comfortable every day. He would be best housed as the only dog in the house. Fred is crate, halti and house trained. He is a high energy dog so needs an owner able to give him ample physical and mental stimulation. He will also need daily grooming.

Gracie is a 4 year old Collie x Spaniel who was handed over to us through no fault of her own. She likes people and walks well on the lead. She has been walking with other calm dogs that give her space, but would probably prefer being the only dog in the house. No young children. She has some basic training and is house trained.

Gracie is a very sweet 2 year old Doberman x Great Dane. She came in last year with her siblings who were all taken from an unlicensed breeder who did not care for them as well as they should have. She was adopted to a loving home but unfortunately has had to return to us now due to her owners ill health.Gracie is very loving once she is comfortable with you and really enjoys one on one time with people. She was kenneled with her sister when first here so could possibly be housed with another dog, subject to successful introductions.She is still quite nervous, especially of strangers, so will need a home that can give her the time and space to open up and an owner that will engage in training exercises to build up her confidence in different situations.She will need an owner who is physically capable of managing large dogs and preferably have had similar large guarding breeds in the past, as previous experience with these types of breeds will give a better understanding of their needs so they can be met fully.

Lulu (brown) is a 4 year old Alapaha who was handed over to us through no fault of her own with her sister Skylar. She was initially nervous of new people but has come out of her shell and is more relaxed now. She walks well on the lead and gets on with other dogs. She can be rehomed alone or with her sister. She needs a home with older children only and no cats.

Luna is a 2 year old Bull Mastiff cross who was handed over to us through no fault of her own. She is extremely timid and wary of new people, so it might be a longer process for a future adopter to meet her and gain her trust as she is only just starting to warm to our staff now. Once she knows and trusts you she is affectionate and sweet. She is a large dog and can be strong on the lead, so needs an owner able to work on this with her and handle her size. She is curious of other dogs and nervous but hasn’t shown aggression here. She may be best suited as the only dog in the house and with no young children due to her nervousness.

This beautiful lady is Narla, a 5 year old Shar Pei crossbreed. She walks well on the lead and we are socializing her with other dogs to get her a bit more used to them.Narla is quite wary of people when she first meets them, but once she has accepted someone she is a loving dog. Narla requires a home that has experience of guard breeds as she has shown some guarding in a home environment. We believe that with firm but fair leadership Narla will make a fantastic dog. Peach is a lovely 3 year old Akita who came to us through the stray system. She was extremely underweight when she arrived but has been slowly gaining weight and is looking much better. She is a very happy, friendly girl who has been getting on with other dogs and people, and walks well on the lead. She can be mouthy and nibble when excited so would be best in a home with no young children, and will require training to make sure this is managed and doesn’t become rough.Please contact 07931 220094 for more information on this gorgeous girl!
