Hello, I am Banjo, a sweet and handsome Japanese Spitz cross of 5 years, who loves treats and enjoys spending time with his doggy friends.Before I was rescued, I was living in appalling conditions. I was kept in a small room that was never (literally never!) cleaned. As you can imagine, this had a big impact on me. When my rescuers found me, I was completely shut down and terrified of people.During my time here at the shelter, I have made several steps in the right direction. But I’m not going to lie, I’m still very shy and scared to be touched. That’s why I am looking for a forever home where my new human friends don’t think in limitations, but in possibilities. People who will show me love, patience and support. People who will continue to stand by my side as we go through the learning process together.The fact that I’m still a bit scared of human touch doesn’t mean that I don’t love my human friends.
