Bobby is around 7 months old and is a very nervous little soul, though he does have slightly more confidence than some of the others. Once he feels safe, he’ll happily come over to say hello and absolutely loves licking your hands. While cuddles are still a bit too scary for him at the moment, his affection shines through in other ways – including his little tail wagging away when he’s feeling brave.
When Bobby feels overwhelmed, he will hit the floor and make himself small, so he will need a calm, patient home that understands nervous dogs and is happy to let him go at his own pace. With time, reassurance, and kindness, his confidence will continue to grow.
Bobby would benefit from living with another confident, friendly dog, who can help show him the world isn’t such a scary place. He could live with sensible children aged 8+ who understand that he needs space and gentle handling.
