Cairo arrived at the pound in May 2026 and was estimated to be around 2 years old at the time. Cairo was found in a quarry and arrived at the pound in a horrific condition. According to the information we received, his injuries were caused by a product used in the quarry. He must have been in terrible pain. He was also extremely frightened, and it took a long time for rescuers to bring him to safety. For some time, they regularly fed him while patiently gaining his trust, until they were finally able to catch him.
