Hi… I’m Camelito.I’m still learning how to be brave, but I think I’m finally ready to tell you my story.I came from a place where there were 26 of us… all living in conditions no dog should ever experience. We were hoarded, handled badly, and taught that human hands were something to fear. When I was rescued, I was absolutely terrified — the world felt huge and loud, and I didn’t know who I could trust.But that was back in October… and since then, something amazing has been happening. I’ve been getting braver. Little by little. Day by day.At first, I couldn’t even look at people without shaking. Now? I take treats from the volunteers with my tail gently wagging. I even walk up and ask for soft petting — just a little, but enough to show I’m trying. And they tell me all the time how proud they are of me.
