Handsome Charlie boy has been in care with Rescue Me Animal Sanctuary for a while and he is desperate to find a retirement home. He is 10+ years old and has seen it all. He is unfazed by the world, hoping to spend his golden years with a full belly and a warm sofa. Sadly, he was unclaimed at the pound and at risk of euthanasia due to being an older boy.Charlie is very polite with new people. He doesn’t jump up and never barks and he has been a dream in his foster home. He also has excellent dog manners and gets on well with all dogs he meets. Charlie hasn’t lived with another dog, but this may be possible after careful introductions. Charlie cannot live with cats. He can be left on his own up to a few hours with no problems, and he travels well in a car and on public transport.Charlie is a smart boy who is very food motivated. This makes him great to train and he has enjoyed learning new tricks and recall. He does however have a talent for getting into food he shouldn’t, so care needs ...
