Chester

Chester is a 4 year old Sprocker who found himself in our care through no fault of his own after struggling to live alongside another dog in the home. His previous owners had been working closely with a behaviourist, so Chester comes to us with a good understanding of his needs and how best to support him. Sadly, Chester has had some difficult experiences in the past. After being picked on at doggy day care, he learned that the world around other dogs didn’t always feel safe. To protect himself, he began using his voice and big feelings to ask for space when out and about. Over time, this led to challenges at home, where Chester himself was being bullied by the other resident dog. With everyone’s wellbeing in mind, the kindest decision was made to find Chester a home where he could truly relax and be someone’s one and only.
