Colby

olby is a medium sized crossbreed aged around five years old. Colby came into our care around a year ago from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. Safe to say he’d been well taught to fear and dislike people from all he’d seen from the human race. To say he didn’t like us would be an understatement and it was a long time before we could do anything but feed him and just be around him. Over time we gained his trust enough to remove the matted dreadlocks he’d come to us carrying, little by little he grew to love us. Colby is now one of our favourite characters. He loves to play with the broom when we sweep the floors, he gets the most excited of the whole pack when I come home from the quickest of errands and is beside himself with excitement when I return from my regular trips to Romania. Colby will need to live with another dog or dogs full time. He will need someone with a good level of experience with nervous dogs who is willing to be patient to earn his trust.
