Laya is an adorable 11-month-old lurcher with the sweetest soul. She came into our care as an unclaimed stray, so her past is a mystery—but what we do know is that she’s ready to start her new chapter with a family who will love her as much as she deserves.This dinky little (weighing in at around 13-14kg currently) girl thrives on human company and relishes being around people. Everything in the big wide world is still quite new to her, so she can feel overwhelmed and anxious in unfamiliar places or situations. We believe she’s had a very sheltered start in life, but she’s learning every day how exciting life can be!Laya is making great progress with her training, including getting used to wearing a collar and walking on a lead—something she likely hadn’t experienced before.
