Lizzie

Lizzie is a medium sized crossbreed aged around four years old. Lizzie came into our care a few months ago after we met her on a trip to the Botosani public shelter in Romania. She was scarily emaciated back then and we did wonder if she would survive long enough for us to get her to the UK. Since her arrival she has steadily put on weight and has now flourished into a friendly, loving and happy little girl. Lizzie was always curious about people and happy to be around them but was initially afraid to be actually touched. It has taken a few months for her to learn to trust people which is understandable given her background. She has been in her UK foster home for a few months now and can still be a little wary of strangers or sudden movements, however over the last few weeks she has learnt to be confident to approach people for a fuss and enjoys being stroked.
