Queenie

Queenie is a medium sized collie cross aged around five to six years old. I felt like Queenie was a hidden gem, lost in the crowds at the Botosani public shelter in Romania when we visited in October. I don’t even know if she was there on previous trips, if she was I didn’t see her. As I was stood outside a pen I saw the flicker of a wag of a tail from inside one of the dog houses, and then her little nose poking out daring herself to come and make friends. I entered the pen and bobbed down to her level and after just a few seconds of talking softly to her she crept forward and put her head on my knee. I was sold and she was on the list to come to the UK. I put a slip lead on her and we walked out of the shelter onto the fields and she had the best time she’d had in a very long time. The good times will keep rolling now that she’s in the UK, she just needs her forever home. Queenie is a submissive girl that would like a quiet home environment.
