Hi… I’m Scotch. I’m a handsome rescue hound with a quiet heart and a story that hasn’t been simple. I was saved from a killing shelter — a place no dog should ever end up. When I first arrived, I was petrified of everything. I didn’t understand safety, or kindness, or soft voices. I just tried to make myself small and invisible. But the volunteers… they never gave up on me. Day after day, they showed up. No pressure. No rushing. Just patience. And slowly, something inside me started to change. Now, when the volunteers walk in, I get excited. My tail starts moving. I love going to the playground, I love my treats, and I love being around people I know. I’m not a cuddly dog — that’s just not who I am — but I enjoy company in my own quiet way. I like being near you, exploring, or just sharing the same space.
