Thelma

Thelma is a medium sized crossbreed aged around nine years old. Not yet cat tested. Can live with or without other dogs. Adult home required. Thelma has joined us recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. We have seen her in there for many years but have been unable to assess and get to know her because the dog she was in a pen with is so aggressive. In March when we visited again I decided to bite the bullet and risk it and got her out and found her to be delightful…. I got bitten by the other dog when I put her back in the pen but totally worth it now that she’s here in the UK. Thelma is mixing well with the other dogs in her foster home but could also be the only dog in her forever home. She walks nicely on a lead and enjoys her walks but will need to build up her fitness level after so many years of incarceration. She will need an adult home environment.
